What the reported golden cross means
A golden cross is a chart pattern in which a shorter-term moving average rises above a longer-term moving average. In the report, the averages are the 50-day and 200-day measures on ADA’s daily chart. A moving average smooths recent price data over its stated period; the crossover describes how those averages compare, not what the price must do next.

Why the dates and readings matter
TokenPost reported that its September 24, 2026 end-of-day snapshot showed ADA’s 50-day simple moving average at $0.2070 and its 200-day average at $0.2141. In that snapshot, the 50-day average was still below the 200-day average, so those figures do not show a completed crossover on September 24 or confirm the later claim.

The figures and the October 3 report can both be accurate if the crossover happened after September 24. However, the reviewed accounts do not specify the exact crossing timestamp, the price-data source, whether both reports used simple or exponential averages, or the candle-close convention. To reconcile chart readings, compare the observation date, daily versus intraday timeframe, average type, exchange or price feed, and closing convention.

Its account says the previous one occurred in August 2025, that ADA briefly reached $0.92 on August 14, 2025, and that a daily death cross followed in November 2025. These are historical claims from that outlet, not independently confirmed price-history findings here.

The reported sequence is a reminder not to read the earlier golden cross as proof that the pattern predicts what comes next: the same account says a death cross followed.
