Canon lists a print resolution of 600 × 1200 dpi. Media sizes and types differ between the cassette and rear tray, so check the regional specifications before buying for a particular envelope, photo size or custom format.

The GX3060 uses Canon GI-66 ink bottles: GI-66BK black and GI-66C, GI-66M and GI-66Y colour. Match the bottle code to the printer and your region rather than relying only on a broad listing title.

Canon Australia estimates yields of up to 6,000 black pages and 14,000 colour pages per set. In Economy mode, its estimates rise to up to 9,000 black and 21,000 colour pages. Canon says these estimates use its individual test method, the ISO/IEC 24712 colour chart and a continuous-printing simulation with replacement bottles after initial setup. They are not guarantees of what every owner will get: actual yield varies with content, settings and use. The yield figures alone cannot establish cost per page; that requires current local bottle prices and a defined calculation.
Is it a good small-business printer?
It may suit a small office that prints regularly, wants a refillable tank system, and can use its print/copy/scan functions, paper feeds and connectivity. The 250-sheet cassette helps keep ordinary paper available, while the rear tray offers another feed for paper types and sizes the cassette may not support.
