Screen iL says it serves viewers outside Israel and offers live channels and on-demand programming; Keshet’s 12+ makes only programs for which it has overseas rights available abroad, with a subscription. What you can watch depends on your country, plan and the rights to each channel or title.
Which services are intended for watching Israeli TV abroad?
Screen iL: an overseas-focused option
Screen iL says its service is available only outside Israel. Its FAQ lists live feeds including Kan 11, Keshet 12, Reshet 13, Channel 14, i24 News, ILTV and the Knesset Channel, alongside other programming. It also describes catch-up for live content for up to seven days, Israeli football, films, documentaries, children’s content and video on demand. These are the provider’s stated offerings, not a guarantee that every channel or title is included for every viewer.

Screen iL’s app listing cautions that channel and content availability, catch-up and sports coverage can vary by territory, subscription plan and programming rights. Check the current package and the specific program before subscribing. Screen iL’s FAQ says: “Please note: The service is legal and therefore the content on Screen iL is only available for viewing outside of Israel.” That is the provider’s own description, not an independent legal assessment. Keshet’s 12+: selected programs with overseas rights
Keshet says that 12+ subscribers abroad can watch programs for which Keshet has overseas broadcast rights. Its support page also makes clear that not every program has a 12+ streaming license, so a domestic catalog or subscription should not be taken to mean the full catalog travels with you. Check whether the particular show is available where you are. Keshet 12+ support

Can you watch Kan 11, Keshet 12 or Reshet 13?
Start by searching the overseas service’s current channel list and the program catalog for the exact channel or title. Screen iL lists Kan 11, Keshet 12 and Reshet 13 among its live feeds, but availability can differ by territory, plan and rights. Keshet’s 12+ is a separate route for selected Keshet programs, not a promise of unrestricted access to all of Channel 12’s domestic programming.
Before paying, check these details:
- Whether the channel or named program is included in your country and subscription plan.
- Whether you need a live feed, a replay, or on-demand access; these are not necessarily offered for the same content.
- Whether catch-up applies to the program you want and how long it remains available.
- Whether the service’s app or web player is available on your device and in your country’s app store.
How do VPNs fit in—and what can go wrong?
A VPN routes your connection through another network endpoint. If that endpoint is in Israel, a website may see an Israeli IP address, but that does not guarantee a stream will work. Services may use location checks beyond a viewer’s apparent IP, and rights or account restrictions may still prevent playback.

A sponsored VPN article claims that a VPN can help with geographic restrictions, while also warning that bypassing them may breach a service’s terms. That is promotional material, not independent testing or legal advice for a particular country or service. No specific VPN’s Israeli server availability or current success with Kan 11, 12+ or Reshet was established here. Check the service terms and local law before using a VPN to access a restricted stream. Comparitech’s discussion of watching Israeli TV abroad

Set up viewing on a phone, TV or browser
Use the service’s own app or web player where it is available, and confirm support for your exact device before subscribing. Screen iL lists viewing on phones, tablets, smart TVs and online. Keshet’s support material describes browser access and support for phones, tablets, Android TV and Apple TV, but those details may change; app availability can also depend on the country’s store. The support instructions are not a guarantee that every device app is offered abroad.
- Open the service’s official site or app listing from your location and confirm that sign-up and playback are available in your country.
- Check the channel or exact program, plan requirements, and whether the content is live, catch-up or on demand.
- Confirm that your TV or mobile device is listed as supported and that the app is available in your local app store. If not, check whether the service offers a browser player for your device.
- After signing in, test the specific channel or program you intend to watch. A service’s general channel list does not ensure every program is available in your territory.
What does a location error mean?
Streaming services can use IP address location to determine where a connection appears to originate. Keshet’s support page addresses the reverse problem: someone physically in Israel may be assigned an IP address that appears to be abroad. Its guidance is to check the IP location and contact the internet service provider if the address is incorrectly located. This advice concerns correcting an inaccurate location assignment; it does not establish that a VPN will unlock a stream. Keshet 12+ support
