DAZN says subscribers primarily use the service in the country where they established their account. In another country, access depends on local rights and, for eligible subscribers temporarily visiting another EEA member state, DAZN’s portability rules. DAZN’s terms, last updated July 17, 2026, describe those limits.
How can I watch DAZN while traveling?
First identify the country where you established your DAZN account and the country you are visiting. Then check whether your trip qualifies for EEA portability and whether the event is available to your account in that location. Without those details, no general answer can establish whether a particular match or league will stream.

- Before leaving: Install the DAZN app and sign in. DAZN recommends installing the app before travel. If your subscription is bundled through a provider, DAZN says you may need to create your account in the country where you obtained that provider subscription. See DAZN’s EU portability guidance.
- If traveling to another EEA member state: Open My Account → Subscription details and check whether EU portability is included and whether DAZN has verified your eligibility.
- If traveling outside the portability arrangement: Sign in, then check the destination country’s catalogue. DAZN says free content available there may be accessible, along with some globally licensed content if you have an active home subscription. Local market-specific paid content remains locked.
- Before the event: Check its DAZN listing while in the destination country. Rights and catalogues can change, so an earlier listing or a home-country subscription does not establish availability abroad.
Can I use my DAZN subscription in another country?
DAZN’s terms say you may access the service primarily in the country where you established your account. Content availability varies by territory and can change. The terms provide a conditional exception: subscribers verified as eligible, whose subscription includes portability, can access their home-country service temporarily in another EEA member state.
DAZN describes portability checks as automatic. A valid recurring payment method may be required; a subscription activated with a code or gift card and no payment method may be denied portability. Check the Subscription details section of My Account rather than assuming that travel within the EEA automatically qualifies. DAZN’s portability help page explains the eligibility checks.

What changes outside EEA portability?
Outside the applicable portability arrangement, logging in does not mean your home-country paid catalogue travels with you. DAZN’s travel guidance distinguishes between content available in the destination and content licensed globally: travelers may access content marked free in the destination country and some globally licensed content with an active home subscription. Local paid content can remain unavailable. The exact event depends on DAZN’s rights in both markets and the account’s eligibility. See DAZN’s travel guidance.
Why is DAZN blocked in my country?
Sports and other programming are licensed by territory, so DAZN’s catalogue can differ between countries. A title available on your home service may not be licensed in the country you are visiting, while that country may have its own paid programming. DAZN’s terms also say the service and content are for personal, non-commercial use and that access is primarily in the account’s established country.

If DAZN appears to detect your location incorrectly, use its published troubleshooting steps: disable VPN or proxy functions, clear your browser cache, and restart the app or browser. DAZN says using a VPN to bypass regional restrictions is not permitted; it is not a legitimate way to unlock another country’s paid catalogue. See DAZN’s VPN guidance.
