How prescription correction is supposed to work with AURA
XREAL’s official AURA page says: “XREAL AURA supports insertable prescription lenses, allowing users who require vision correction to comfortably use the device.” That confirms support for prescription lenses mounted in an insert; it does not describe the insert’s construction or the process for obtaining one.

The page does not say whether an insert is included with AURA, where to order one, what prescriptions it supports, or how much it costs. It also does not establish whether inserts made for other XREAL models will fit. Confirm those details with XREAL before buying or ordering lenses.
Can you wear your regular glasses over AURA?
The official AURA information does not confirm that ordinary prescription glasses fit over the device. That is different from the stated support for insertable prescription lenses, so do not assume your existing frames will work over AURA.

XREAL’s advice about wearing regular glasses with its separate xbx a01+ model is not AURA-specific. It should not be treated as confirmation of AURA’s over-glasses fit or comfort.
What is known about AURA availability and fit
XREAL lists AURA as “Coming in Fall 2026.” The company says the final base-model retail price will not exceed US$1,500 before tax, but does not give a final price. Availability and accessory details may change, so check the AURA product page for current information.

XREAL lists these AURA IPD fit ranges: M, 60–66 mm; L, 66–72 mm. Those are device fit specifications, not a prescription range, and the page does not explain how an insert affects fit.

- Whether XREAL offers or includes a prescription insert specifically for AURA.
- Whether your prescription can be made for that insert and how to order it.
- The insert’s price and availability.
- Whether your existing glasses can be worn over AURA, if that is your preferred option.
- Whether the insert is compatible with AURA rather than another XREAL model.
