Yes, an eligible U.S. Samsung Wallet user is expected to be able to send USDC internationally—but the recipient’s wallet and network must be supported. Who can use the feature, and where?
The announced service is for eligible U.S. residents aged 18 or older. It is not a general launch for Samsung Wallet users in every country. Samsung says a future expansion to additional markets is possible, subject to each country’s regulatory developments; it has not announced current availability for senders outside the U.S.

Samsung’s eligibility requirements are a Samsung Account, a Samsung Wallet-compatible Galaxy device running Android 13 or higher, account registration, identity verification, and biometric authentication setup. What international transfers are planned?
Samsung describes two different routes for an eligible U.S. sender. The recipient’s setup, what they receive, and the applicable fees depend on the route:

Samsung says bank payouts are planned for eligible accounts in more than 60 countries. That figure refers to bank destinations, not universal access across all countries, banks, or account types. Does Samsung Wallet support USDC on Solana?
Solana is a named partner, and Samsung says Solana and Sui are among its partners for blockchain network support. The Solana Foundation separately describes the Samsung integration as supporting stablecoins on Solana. However, neither announcement provides a definitive list of networks available in Samsung Wallet at launch or confirms compatibility with every USDC token, address, or destination provider on Solana. Before sending, check that Samsung Wallet offers the intended network and that the recipient’s wallet or exchange supports USDC on that same network. A network partnership alone is not proof that a specific destination is compatible. Do not assume you can send USDC across different networks or bridge it as part of this feature; the announcements do not establish that functionality.

What to verify before sending
- Confirm your eligibility. Check that you meet Samsung’s U.S. residency and age requirements, and have a qualifying registered account and device. The exact model list has not been published.
- Choose the right route. Use a crypto-wallet transfer if the recipient needs USDC; use a bank payout if the recipient has an eligible account and local-currency delivery is appropriate.
- Match the network for a wallet transfer. Confirm both the network shown in Samsung Wallet and the receiving provider’s USDC network support before entering or approving the destination.
- Review the final details in the app. For a bank payout, check the supported destination, displayed fee, estimated delivery time, and payout currency. For a wallet transfer, verify the recipient details and any receiving-provider charges.
- Authenticate only after checking. Samsung says transfers require biometric authentication on a registered compatible device. Confirm the destination and amount before authorizing.
Who provides custody and movement services?
Samsung says it does not hold customer funds and is not the bank, money transmitter, or digital-asset custodian for this service. It identifies Bastion as providing the stablecoin account and movement framework, and Coinbase as the USDC subcustodian through Coinbase Prime Vault.
