Yes—PRISM Live Studio supports YouTube, but that does not guarantee your channel can start a stream, keep one live without interruption, or save a 24-hour replay. For an India-based devotional channel, check YouTube live-streaming eligibility, plan around PRISM’s warning that streams longer than 12 hours may not be archived, and make sure you have rights to every song, recording, performance, image, and video you broadcast. Monetization is a separate channel-level review, not an automatic result of streaming around the clock.
What PRISM can—and cannot—guarantee
PRISM Live Studio supports YouTube and can connect through platform linking or RTMP. Its compatibility answers whether the software can send a stream to YouTube; it does not establish that your channel is eligible to go live or that a broadcast will run continuously. Platform restrictions, app or network interruptions, and YouTube enforcement can all affect a long session.

Check that your YouTube channel can start a live stream
Channel readiness is separate from installing PRISM. YouTube may require verification and first-time activation; PRISM’s troubleshooting guidance says the wait can be up to 24 hours. Restrictions on a channel or limits affecting stream creation can also prevent a start. The current status of your channel is the deciding factor, not the app’s compatibility alone.
- Open YouTube Studio and check the channel’s live-streaming feature status and any restriction notices.
- If you have only just enabled or verified live streaming, allow for the activation wait shown in YouTube’s or PRISM’s current guidance.
- If PRISM cannot create a stream, consult PRISM’s YouTube start troubleshooting guide. It describes cases where a stream created in YouTube Live Dashboard may be started through PRISM. Follow current on-screen guidance; implementation details can change.
Set up PRISM to send the devotional broadcast to YouTube
PRISM documents two relevant connection approaches: linking a supported streaming service and linking by RTMP. The exact labels and screens can vary by PRISM version, so use the current interface and FAQ rather than relying on outdated menu directions.

Connect through YouTube service linking
- In PRISM, choose the service-linking option and select YouTube.
- Authorize the Google account and channel you intend to use, then confirm that PRISM is connected to the correct channel.
- Prepare your stream in YouTube or PRISM and confirm the intended title, visibility, and live settings before starting.
Connect by RTMP and a stream key
- In YouTube Live Control Room, create or select the live stream and locate its stream key and server details.
- In PRISM, choose the RTMP linking or custom streaming option and enter the server URL and stream key exactly as YouTube provides them.
- Keep the stream key private. Anyone who obtains it may be able to send a broadcast to your channel. Regenerate it in YouTube if it is exposed.
- Start the PRISM output, then verify in YouTube Live Control Room that the incoming stream is detected before making it public.
PRISM notes that RTMP linking can limit access to viewer count and chat inside PRISM. Its FAQ lists RTMP, HLS (YouTube), WHIP (Twitch), SRT, and RIST among supported protocols; that protocol list does not mean every protocol is relevant to this YouTube setup.
Plan separately for being live and for saving a replay
A continuous broadcast and a usable archive are different outcomes. PRISM’s guidance says YouTube has no stated maximum live-stream duration, but it warns that auto-archiving applies only to streams under 12 hours and that streams longer than 12 hours may not be archived at all. It also notes platform time limits and policies can change. Do not assume one 24-hour session will leave a replay you can later publish or review.

If replay retention matters, test your intended workflow with a short unlisted stream before scheduling a public devotional broadcast. Confirm both that the channel goes live and that the resulting archive behaves as you need. Consider a schedule made of shorter sessions if separate replay segments are important; this is a planning choice, not a guarantee that every segment will archive.
Clear rights for devotional audio and visuals
Devotional subject matter does not itself grant permission to stream a recording or song. YouTube scans live broadcasts for third-party content and may replace the live image, interrupt the broadcast, or terminate it when a match is identified. YouTube also puts responsibility on the livestream provider to hold the necessary worldwide exploitation rights, including music licenses, and to comply with applicable local law. - Use only music, recordings, compositions, performances, artwork, photographs, and video for which you have the relevant rights for the intended territories and uses.
- Keep written licenses and permissions. If licensed material is detected, YouTube says the rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist to avoid interruption.
- Do not treat “traditional,” “devotional,” “found online,” or credit in a description as proof of permission. Whether a specific work is public domain or licensed in India depends on the work and its circumstances.
- YouTube requires compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements. The platform guidance does not determine what Indian registrations or permissions apply to a particular operator; seek current local advice for that question.
Do not assume a 24/7 stream will qualify for monetization
Live availability, watch time, and YouTube Partner Program approval are separate. YouTube’s standard ad-revenue eligibility guidance lists 1,000 subscribers and either 4,000 qualified public watch hours from long-form videos in the prior 365 days or 10 million qualified public Shorts views in the prior 90 days, alongside policy compliance, regional availability, and review. These are eligibility thresholds, not a promise of approval or a prediction about how a particular live stream’s activity will count. Check the channel’s current Earn tab for India and the specific feature, because requirements and availability can change. See YouTube’s earning guidance.
YouTube reviews channels for original and authentic content. Its policy says repetitive, mass-produced, generic, or reused material with little added value may be ineligible; reviewers can consider the channel as a whole, including its theme, videos, metadata, and About section. A loop of third-party recordings over a static image is not equivalent to original live devotional performance or commentary, but neither format guarantees a review result.
