No PartyPoker source endorses a VPN, publishes a VPN compatibility test, or says that using a VPN makes a player eligible to play. That is why this guide does not name five VPNs that “work” with PartyPoker. A VPN changes the IP address your connection appears to come from. It does not change whether PartyPoker accepts your location, whether play is lawful where you live, or whether your account complies with the site’s rules.
Below is what PartyPoker’s published pages say, where they stop, and what to check before you decide anything.

What PartyPoker’s published rules say about VPNs
PartyPoker’s fair-play material is the closest thing to a rulebook for software use on its client. The most relevant document is its Third Party Tools Policy, which states: “The use of both Virtual Machines and/or any software that specialises in screen-sharing and remote-access is prohibited on partypoker.”
The examples the policy gives are:
- Oracle VM VirtualBox
- VMware
- TeamViewer
- Microsoft Remote Desktop
- AnyDesk
- LogMeIn
VPN software is not among the named examples in the passage. The accurate reading is that the policy bans virtual machines and screen-sharing or remote-access tools, and it does not expressly ban VPNs. The same policy says breaches may result in account restrictions, account closure, and seizure of funds.

Virtual machines and remote-access tools
Running the client inside a virtual machine, or letting someone view or control your screen through remote-access software, falls under the prohibition as written. Those are the tools the policy names, and they carry the stated consequences.
Third-party tools while the client is open
According to the policy, only listed third-party tools are permitted while the client is open. Check the live list in the Third Party Tools Policy before running any poker software, tracker or assistant. A tool that is not on the list is not permitted during play, whatever it does.
Strategic materials during play
The policy names MyGame and MyGame Whiz as the only permitted strategic materials that may be used during play. Other strategy resources, including books, videos and notes, are not on that list and should not be open at the table.

Location and market availability
PartyPoker has issued country-specific market-closure notices. Its FAQ says that where it has stopped operating in a country, payment providers may be unable to process withdrawals.
A VPN does not make a closed market available. It also does not fix a withdrawal problem that comes from a market closure, because that problem sits with the operator and its payment providers, not with the route your traffic takes.
Responsible-gambling safeguards
PartyPoker’s Time-Out and Self-Exclusion guidance, last reviewed and updated in July 2026, states: “during a time-out/cool-off or self-exclusion period, customers will not be able to deposit funds or play.”

- New-Gen WiFi Standard – WiFi 6(802.11ax) standard supporting MU-MIMO and OFDMA technology for better efficiency and throughput.Antenna : External antenna x 4. Processor : Dual-core (4 VPE). Power Supply : AC Input : 110V~240V(50~60Hz), DC Output : 12 V with max. 1.5A current.
- Ultra-fast WiFi Speed – RT-AX1800S supports 1024-QAM for dramatically faster wireless connections
- Increase Capacity and Efficiency – Supporting not only MU-MIMO but also OFDMA technique to efficiently allocate channels, communicate with multiple devices simultaneously
- 5 Gigabit ports – One Gigabit WAN port and four Gigabit LAN ports, 10X faster than 100–Base T Ethernet.
- Commercial-grade Security Anywhere – Protect your home network with AiProtection Classic, powered by Trend Micro. And when away from home, ASUS Instant Guard gives you a one-click secure VPN.
A VPN cannot lift that restriction, and the guidance describes no route around it. Using a VPN to reach the tables during a time-out or self-exclusion would work directly against the safeguard that the guidance describes.

Why no VPN is verified as compatible
A compatibility claim would need evidence that PartyPoker’s published pages do not contain. None of them endorses a provider, and none reports a test of VPN connections. Any article that says a named VPN “works” with PartyPoker is making a claim that is not backed by the operator, and that claim should not be read as PartyPoker-approved.
Even where a connection succeeds, it describes network behaviour only. It does not establish that the account or location is eligible.

Legitimate reasons to use a VPN, and what to compare
Most people who use a VPN are protecting ordinary traffic: connecting over public Wi-Fi, keeping browsing private from a network operator, or using a company-provided tunnel for remote work. Those uses are unaffected by the poker rules above, and they are the right frame for comparing services.
When you compare VPN providers for a non-gambling use, check these points:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →- Privacy and security features: the provider’s published logging policy, the protocols it offers, and whether it includes a kill switch that blocks traffic if the tunnel drops.
- Device support: whether the app runs on the operating systems and devices you actually use, and whether you can connect several devices at once.
- Independent audits: whether an audit is published, who performed it, and the date it covers. An audit that is not dated or not named tells you little.
- Connection performance: test speed on your own connection before and after enabling the VPN. Published speed claims from the provider are not an independent measurement.
- Price: the renewal price, not only the first-term offer.
- Provider terms: the jurisdiction the provider operates under, its refund policy, and what its terms say about acceptable use.
This guide does not rank providers. The published sources it draws on do not supply current, independent data that would support a ranking on these criteria.

- Next-Gen Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 Speeds: 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz bands ensure smoother streaming and faster downloads; support VPN server and VPN client¹
- A More Responsive Experience: Enjoy smooth gaming, video streaming, and live feeds simultaneously. OFDMA makes your Wi-Fi stronger by allowing multiple clients to share one band at the same time, cutting latency and jitter.²
- Expanded Wi-Fi Coverage: 4 high-gain external antennas and Beamforming technology combine to extend strong, reliable, Wi-Fi throughout your home.
- Improved Battery Life: Target Wake Time helps your devices to communicate efficiently while consuming less power.
- Improved Cooling Design: No heat ups, no throttles. A larger heat sink and redefined case design cools the WiFi 6 system and enables your network to stay at top speeds in more versatile environments.
What this guide cannot settle
The fair-play page does not name VPNs. Whether PartyPoker’s complete general terms and conditions address VPNs or proxies is a separate question, and the fair-play page alone does not answer it. Read the full terms that apply to your account before assuming either way.
Market availability works the same way. PartyPoker’s published pages do not include a complete, current list of countries where the site operates. The reliable check is the market notice for your own country on PartyPoker’s website, and whether your payment methods are still processed there.
