Yes. JioGames Cloud supports both wired and wireless controllers on desktop computers, mobile devices and TVs. That is service-level support, not a guarantee that every controller works with every game. For reliable results, use Google Chrome on a desktop, connect a model listed on JioGames’ tested-controller page, and confirm that the individual game accepts controller input.
What controller support on JioGames Cloud actually means
JioGames’ Cloud FAQ states: “Yes, both wired and wireless controllers are supported across desktop, mobile, and TV.” The supported device categories are desktop and laptop computers through Chrome, Android and iOS phones through the JioGames app, Jio Set-top Box through its app, and Android TV through its app. You can therefore use a USB gamepad, a Bluetooth controller or another wireless model, provided the host device recognizes it and the game is built to accept gamepad input.

There are two separate compatibility questions:
- Platform compatibility: Can your computer, phone or TV connect to and identify the controller?
- Game compatibility: Does the particular Cloud title expose controller controls on that device?
A controller can pass the first test and still fail in a game that expects touch, keyboard and mouse, or a different input layout. JioGames directs players to game details and its compatibility information for that second check. The safest interpretation of the official statement is “controllers are supported by the service,” not “every controller works in every game.”
For the current model list, use the official JioGames supported-controllers page. Jio describes the page as a curated list of controllers tested for the best experience across its platforms. Being listed is useful evidence, but it is not a universal promise for every title, phone, browser or television.

Which controllers does JioGames list as tested?
The current JioGames list names nine models or product families. The page links to purchase listings for the third-party models, but the official information establishes only that JioGames lists them as tested; it does not establish a performance ranking, current price, battery life for each model or compatibility with every game.
| Controller | Connection described by JioGames | What the listing establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Jio Controller | Wireless | Listed by JioGames; Jio publishes separate pairing and device guidance. |
| EvoFox One S Wireless | Wireless | Listed as a tested controller. |
| Cosmic Byte Blitz Wireless | Wireless | Listed as a tested controller. |
| EvoFox Elite X Wired Gaming Controller | Wired | Listed as a tested controller. |
| ZEBRONICS MAX FURY | Not stated on the list entry | Listed as a tested controller; connection type is not stated in the supplied official information. |
| Cosmic Byte ARES Wireless | Wireless | Listed as a tested controller. |
| ZEBRONICS MAX LINK Wireless | Wireless | Listed as a tested controller. |
| EvoFox Elite X2 Wireless | Wireless | Listed as a tested controller. |
| Ant Esports GP110 Wired | Wired | Listed as a tested controller. |
If you are choosing between two listed models, the practical decision is usually wired versus wireless and the device you intend to use. A wired pad avoids Bluetooth pairing and charging, while a wireless pad is more convenient on a sofa or with a phone and TV. Neither connection type overrides a game’s own input support. The JioGames list is the appropriate place to verify that a model is still included before buying.
Desktop and laptop setup
JioGames identifies Google Chrome as the only supported desktop browser for Cloud play. A controller connected in another browser may work at the operating-system level, but that is outside the browser support stated by JioGames.

- Plug the controller into a working USB port on your desktop or laptop.
- Wait for the operating system to finish installing or identifying the input device.
- Open the operating system’s game-controller, Bluetooth-and-devices or USB-device panel and confirm that the controller appears.
- Open the JioGames Cloud site in the latest available Google Chrome session and sign in.
- Launch the game and look for its controller prompt or input settings. If the title offers a control-selection menu, choose the gamepad option.
A wired connection is often the quickest way to isolate a problem: it removes Bluetooth discovery, pairing mode and battery level from the diagnosis. It does not, however, make a controller-supported game out of a title that has no gamepad controls.
Connect a wireless controller
- Put the controller into its pairing mode according to that model’s manual.
- On the computer, open the operating system’s Bluetooth or connected-devices settings and select the controller when it appears.
- Wait until the device is shown as connected, not merely discovered.
- Open Google Chrome, sign in to JioGames Cloud and start the title.
- Test the buttons in the game’s own input screen or during a safe, non-competitive part of play.
Third-party controllers use different button combinations for pairing, so the Select-and-Start procedure published for the Jio Controller should not be applied to another model unless its manual says so.
Chrome settings JioGames calls out
JioGames’ Cloud FAQ advises enabling hardware acceleration and allowing pop-ups for the Cloud site. These settings can affect how the streaming session opens and renders. They are browser requirements for the Cloud experience, not a substitute for a controller that the operating system can actually detect.

Desktop connection requirements
The same FAQ states a minimum connection speed of 40 Mbps and recommends 100 Mbps or more, preferably over 5 GHz Wi-Fi or 5G. JioGames warns that lower speeds can produce lag or disconnections. Those figures concern game streaming. A fast connection cannot repair an unpaired gamepad, and a perfectly paired controller cannot prevent network-induced input delay.
Android and iPhone setup
On phones, JioGames says the app provides the best experience compared with mobile-browser access. Use the JioGames app on Android or iOS, sign in, and select Cloud Games.
Bluetooth controller steps
- Charge the controller or connect it to power if its model requires that before pairing.
- Enable Bluetooth in the phone’s settings.
- Put the controller into its documented pairing mode.
- Select the controller’s name in the phone’s Bluetooth-device list and wait for the connected status.
- Open the JioGames app, sign in and choose Cloud Games.
- Start the intended title and verify that its control instructions show a gamepad or that its input settings respond to the buttons.
Android and iOS can expose different permissions, button mappings and Bluetooth behavior. If the phone says the controller is connected but the game does not respond, check the title’s own compatibility information before changing network settings or buying another controller.
Wired phone connections
A wired controller can work only if the phone, adapter and controller use compatible connectors and the mobile operating system recognizes the device. The official JioGames statement confirms service-level wired-controller support, but it does not specify one adapter, connector standard or setup for every Android phone and iPhone. Verify the phone’s input-device support and the controller manufacturer’s instructions for the exact hardware combination.
Android TV and Jio Set-top Box setup
Open the JioGames app on Android TV or on the Jio Set-top Box, sign in and connect a controller that the host device can identify. JioGames includes both TV categories in its Cloud controller-support statement.
Jio’s separate controller FAQ says the Jio Game Controller is compatible with Android devices and Jio Set-top Box and recommends the Set-top Box for the best results. That statement applies to the Jio Game Controller; it should not be expanded into a guarantee for every third-party pad.

Pair the Jio Game Controller
The published pairing sequence is specific to Jio’s own controller:
- Turn on the controller with the Jio button.
- Hold Select and Start together for five seconds.
- Release them when the first two LEDs blink green at the same time.
- On the host device, select the Bluetooth device named in the form
Jio JGC 100 xxxx. - Wait for the connection confirmation, then open JioGames and launch the game.
Jio’s FAQ says the controller remembers the paired device and reconnects automatically. If it does not reconnect, remove the old entry from the host’s Bluetooth list, repeat the pairing sequence and select the newly displayed device name.
Multiple Jio controllers
The Jio Game Controller FAQ states that up to four Jio Game Controllers can be connected at once. Whether four-player input is usable still depends on the game and the device; the hardware limit does not mean every Cloud title offers four-player support.

How to tell whether a specific game supports a controller
Do not infer game support solely from the fact that JioGames Cloud recognizes your controller. Check the title’s details or compatibility information before troubleshooting hardware.
- Open the game’s information or details page in JioGames.
- Look for a controller, gamepad or supported-input indicator.
- Read any device-specific note: a title may support a gamepad on TV but show touch controls on a phone, for example.
- After launching, open the game’s settings or follow its on-screen control prompt.
- If the game lists only keyboard-and-mouse or touch controls, assume the title—not the controller—is the limiting factor.
Jio’s own Game Controller FAQ names seven games for use with that controller on the Jio Set-top Box: Mr Racer, Jungle Adventure 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Street of Rage, Alpha Gun, Skater Kid and Traffic Race. This is a product-and-device-specific list. It is not a complete catalogue of Cloud games, proof that only those seven games work, or evidence that the same titles expose identical controls on desktop, mobile or Android TV. See the exact wording in Jio’s Set-top Box game-support FAQ.
Controller compatibility checklist before you buy or pair
- Target device: Decide whether you will play on Chrome, an Android phone, an iPhone, Android TV or a Jio Set-top Box.
- Listed model: Check the exact model name on the JioGames tested-controller list.
- Connection: Choose wired for a direct USB path or wireless for flexible seating and mobile/TV use.
- Host detection: Confirm the operating system or TV shows the controller as connected before opening the game.
- Game input: Verify the individual title accepts a controller on the device you selected.
- Cloud connection: Meet JioGames’ 40 Mbps minimum; 100 Mbps or more is recommended.
- Browser: On desktop, use Chrome and follow the hardware-acceleration and pop-up guidance.
Troubleshooting: what to check when the controller does not work
The controller is not visible in the device settings
Start outside JioGames. For a wireless model, charge it, leave any other phone or TV that may be connected, re-enter pairing mode and scan again. For a wired model, try another USB port and check whether the operating system shows an input device. If the host cannot see the controller, the Cloud page cannot use it. Third-party pairing instructions vary by model; use that product’s manual rather than the Jio Controller sequence.

The device sees the controller, but the game ignores it
Check the individual game’s controller information first. Service-level support does not require every game to accept a gamepad. If the title does support one, close and relaunch the game after pairing, then inspect its input settings. On a phone or TV, make sure the controller is connected to the same host on which the game is running.

Buttons work, but input feels delayed
Separate controller detection from streaming quality. JioGames states 40 Mbps as the minimum and recommends 100 Mbps or more, preferably 5 GHz Wi-Fi or 5G. Move closer to the router, reduce competing traffic and use a wired connection for the controller where practical. A slower or unstable connection can cause lag or disconnections even when every button is detected correctly.
The Cloud session will not open on desktop
Switch to Google Chrome, the only desktop browser JioGames identifies as supported. Enable hardware acceleration and allow pop-ups for the Cloud site as directed in the FAQ. Then sign in again and test the controller after the streaming session loads.
The Jio Controller will not reconnect
Remove the saved Jio controller entry from the host’s Bluetooth settings and repeat the official sequence: power on with the Jio button, hold Select and Start for five seconds until the first two LEDs blink green together, then select the newly displayed Jio JGC 100 xxxx device. The controller’s remembered-device behavior is documented by Jio, but a stale or conflicting Bluetooth entry can still require a fresh pairing.
Everything appears correct, but the problem remains
Record the device type, browser or app, controller model, game title and whether the host detects the controller. JioGames directs users to [email protected] for further help. Include whether the issue is missing detection, unsupported in-game controls, streaming lag or disconnection; those symptoms point to different causes.

For the Jio Game Controller, Jio’s product FAQ states that a full charge takes one hour and that the controller has a six-month warranty from the invoice date. Those figures apply to that product, not to the third-party models on JioGames’ tested list. The same FAQ recommends the Jio Set-top Box for the best results and states compatibility with Android devices and Jio Set-top Box.

Do not treat the warranty, charging time or four-controller connection limit as specifications for every compatible gamepad. Each third-party controller has its own battery, cable, wireless protocol and warranty terms.
Bottom-line decision guide
Use a controller with JioGames Cloud when your target device recognizes it and the particular game lists gamepad input. On desktop, use Chrome; on Android and iOS, use the JioGames app for the best stated experience; on TV, use the JioGames app on Android TV or Jio Set-top Box. A model on JioGames’ tested list reduces uncertainty, while the Jio Game Controller has a documented pairing process and specific Set-top Box guidance. If controls still fail, test game compatibility first, then host detection, browser/app settings and network quality in that order.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use a controller with JioGames Cloud on a laptop?
Yes. JioGames supports wired and wireless controllers on desktop and laptop Cloud play. Use Google Chrome, which JioGames identifies as the supported desktop browser, and confirm the game itself accepts controller input.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesIs a wireless controller better than a wired controller?
Neither is universally better. Wired models avoid Bluetooth pairing and charging, while wireless models offer more freedom on phones and TVs. Choose based on your host device and seating, then verify the model on JioGames’ tested list.
Can I use any Bluetooth gamepad?
JioGames confirms wireless-controller support at the service level, but it does not promise that every Bluetooth model works with every game. Check the exact model against JioGames’ list and test the title’s own controller support.
Does the seven-game Jio Controller list cover all Cloud games?
No. The seven titles are listed specifically for the Jio Game Controller on Jio Set-top Box. They should not be treated as a complete Cloud catalogue or as a universal list for other devices.
What internet speed should I have?
JioGames states 40 Mbps as a minimum and recommends 100 Mbps or more, preferably on 5 GHz Wi-Fi or 5G. These figures affect streaming stability and latency, not whether the host detects a controller.
