In Nintendo’s documented transfer flow, the save is moved off the sending console. If save data for the same software already exists on the receiving console, it may be overwritten; Nintendo warns that overwritten data cannot be recovered. Read the prompts carefully before confirming. Nintendo’s nearby-console transfer instructions explain the process and requirements.
Restore a Nintendo Switch Online cloud backup
If the save was backed up using Nintendo Switch Online’s Save Data Cloud, Nintendo says a member can redownload that backup on another console. An active membership is required. Transfer PlayStation data to PS5
PlayStation’s cited transfer process covers data from a PS4 or another PS5 to PS5. It does not provide a Nintendo Switch import path, so it cannot carry a Switch Breath of the Wild save to PlayStation.

Switch 2 Edition save-file limitation
Nintendo says the second save file created in the Breath of the Wild Switch 2 Edition cannot be transferred to the original Switch version for play. This limitation concerns that specific second save file and that direction; it should not be read as a general statement about every save or every transfer between Nintendo consoles.
