You can still visit old.reddit.com, and Reddit’s current Help Center directs desktop users to old.reddit.com/r/all for r/all. Access through Reddit’s newer interface is different: Reddit says r/all entry points are being removed there and r/all links redirect to Home. The exact experience may depend on your account settings and the rollout.
How do you get to r/all?
On a desktop browser, go directly to old.reddit.com/r/all. Reddit’s access instructions identify this as the route to r/all. You can also open old.reddit.com to use the older Reddit interface.

Reddit’s April 2, 2026 changelog says people using old.reddit.com, or accounts whose settings default to the old Reddit experience, continue to access r/all. The changelog describes current product behavior; it does not promise that old Reddit will remain available indefinitely or that every account, browser, and region behaves identically.

Reddit says it is removing r/all entry points from the newer experience as part of an effort to simplify Reddit and improve Home-feed personalization. According to the changelog, r/all links redirect to Home on that experience. Reddit names r/popular as the place to find trending content instead. The changelog preserves access to r/all for old.reddit.com users and people whose settings default to old Reddit.

How do Home, Popular, News, Latest, r/all and r/popular differ?
These feeds draw on different sources or sorting rules, so one is not always a substitute for another.
| Feed | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Home | Posts from communities you have joined. |
| Popular | Popular posts across Reddit. |
| News | News shared by communities. |
| Latest | Posts from communities you follow, sorted by new; Reddit documents this option in its app navigation. |
| r/all | A less-filtered selection of popular posts. Reddit says it filters sexually explicit posts but can include other popular NSFW posts; users can also filter communities they do not want to see there. |
| r/popular | Reddit’s popular-post destination for trending content, named in its changelog as r/all entry points are removed. |
Reddit’s descriptions of r/all and Popular distinguish their filtering and feed behavior; the names should not be treated as interchangeable. See Reddit’s feed comparison for its definitions.

Does old Reddit offer more than a different look?
Yes. Reddit documents some preferences and community features specific to old Reddit. Its help page says location customization is available in old Reddit preferences. Community settings can include old Reddit-specific sidebar content and community styling, as well as custom submission-button text that does not affect the newer interface or mobile app. These distinctions can matter if you manage a community or rely on an older preference, not just if you prefer the classic layout.
