Bethesda’s manual states: “The higher your Smithing skill, the better weapons and armor you can forge.” It also explains that forges create weapons and armor, perks expand the available crafting options, and grindstones improve weapon damage using appropriate materials. These are general Smithing rules, not a verified bow recipe catalog.
