Not as a documented one-click command. In College Football 27, EA’s official material describes a full program year as a week-by-week Dynasty calendar. You can advance weeks and delegate several management jobs to the CPU, but EA does not document a setting that automatically plays every scheduled game in an entire season. The option called Simulation is a coach-progression speed choice, not a whole-season simulator.
What is the closest thing to a full-season simulation?
Dynasty is the mode built for running a team through a season and then continuing into future years. It supports the complete program cycle: preseason, regular season, bowl season and offseason. Advancing the weekly calendar is the basic way the year progresses.

That distinction matters because “simulate a season” can mean several different things:
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Skip games: Have the game produce results without personally playing each matchup.
- Skip management: Let the CPU handle recruiting, staff support and facilities while you advance the calendar.
- Skip the whole year: Press one command that resolves every remaining game and activity through the offseason.
EA documents the first two ideas only in limited, separate forms. Dynasty supports weekly advancement and CPU-controlled administration, but its published instructions do not describe a single command that resolves every game in a season from start to finish.

How the Dynasty calendar works
Preseason
You begin the program year in Dynasty, choose your coaching role and prepare the team for the schedule ahead. Dynasty allows you to play as a Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator or Defensive Coordinator. The mode is available from the Game Modes tab.
Regular season
The regular season is organized into weekly cycles. Recruiting, roster building and practice planning are part of that calendar rather than separate activities that can simply be removed from the year. EA’s Dynasty deep dive describes the experience as requiring you to think like a program builder across the entire calendar.
Each week can include practice planning and other decisions. If you advance without changing the practice plan, EA says the team is managed with a “safe and balanced” approach. That lets you move forward without manually adjusting every practice, but it is still weekly advancement, not a documented all-season shortcut.
Bowl season
After the regular season, Dynasty moves into bowl-season activities. EA identifies the coaching carousel as part of this stage, so the year does not end immediately after the final regular-season game.
Offseason
The offseason includes work such as budget refresh and roster retention. You must continue advancing through this stage if you want the complete program year recorded and the next season prepared.

How to let the CPU handle more of the season
Use the following workflow when your goal is to reduce hands-on management while preserving Dynasty progression.
- Open Game Modes > Dynasty.
- Choose your role. Select Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator or Defensive Coordinator, then create or join a Dynasty.
- Open Dynasty settings. Look for the Blueprint automation controls.
- Enable the automation you want. The documented options include Full Blueprint Management, Auto Support Staff and Auto Facilities.
- Turn on Auto Recruiting when appropriate. Auto Recruiting can follow the strategy selected in your Blueprint.
- Advance the weekly calendar. Review prompts and decisions that remain under your control before continuing.
- Continue through every stage. Move from preseason through the regular season, bowl season and offseason.
- Check Season History. Once the year is complete, review the recorded results before starting the next cycle.
This setup delegates a meaningful amount of administration to the CPU. It does not establish that the CPU will automatically play or resolve every game in the entire season with one command. Continue to treat each weekly advance as a separate calendar step.
What the Blueprint auto settings actually automate
Full Blueprint Management
This setting hands over the program-management plan defined by your Blueprint. It is intended to reduce repeated administrative choices, not to create a separate season-simulation mode.
Auto Support Staff
Support-staff decisions can be delegated so that the CPU applies the selected program strategy. The setting affects staff administration; it does not change the documented structure of the weekly calendar.
Auto Facilities
Facilities management can also be automated. This is useful if you want to spend less time making individual program-investment choices while advancing through Dynasty.

- ULTIMATE TEAM – Strengthen your rosters with Ultimate Team content, player items, upgrades, and in-game rewards across both College Football 27 and Madden NFL 27.
Auto Recruiting
Auto Recruiting can follow the Blueprint Strategy you select. Recruiting therefore continues as an automated management task, but it remains part of the regular-season process rather than proof of an instant season skip.
What still may require your attention
Even with the automation options enabled, the published instructions leave room for user-controlled decisions and game prompts. The safest expectation is that the calendar will continue to ask you to review or confirm items that have not been delegated.
- Weekly prompts: Advance only after checking whether a decision is waiting for you.
- Practice plans: If you make no changes, the safe, balanced default handles the week; if you want a specific development emphasis, change the plan before advancing.
- Unautomated choices: Blueprint settings cover the named management areas, not every possible Dynasty interaction.
- Games and results: EA’s published pages do not state that enabling the auto settings resolves every matchup in a complete season automatically.
In practical terms, this is a low-touch Dynasty workflow rather than a guaranteed “simulate all” button.
What “Simulation” means in College Football 27
The word Simulation appears in EA’s July 2026 update notes, but it has a narrower meaning than many players expect. It is a coach-progression setting that provides balanced progression at 1.25x XP.
That multiplier changes how quickly a coach progresses. It does not simulate a season, skip the weekly calendar or produce results for every remaining game. Do not confuse this XP-speed option with a command to run an entire Dynasty year.

Can you simulate one season without building a 30-year Dynasty?
You can use Dynasty to focus on a single program year, but EA’s documented structure treats Dynasty as a multi-year mode rather than a dedicated one-season sandbox. Season History tracks every season across a 30-year Dynasty.
For each season, Season History records the team’s final media ranking, overall record, conference record, conference standing, conference championships and bowl results. Those records are useful if you are testing a roster, experimenting with automated management or running a long-term coaching story.
EA’s official pages do not explicitly confirm a separate one-season mode, nor do they explicitly promise a one-button full-season game simulation. The reliable conclusion is narrower: Dynasty is the documented place to run a season, and you progress through it by advancing weeks.

Use manual management when results and development matter most
Keep recruiting, practice and program decisions under your control if you are trying to shape a specific roster or maximize a particular development plan. You will spend more time each week, but you retain the most control over the factors that affect the program.

Use partial automation for a low-touch career
Enable Full Blueprint Management, Auto Support Staff, Auto Facilities and Auto Recruiting, then advance the calendar while reviewing any remaining prompts. This is the best fit if you want Dynasty progression without handling every administrative task.

Do not choose the Simulation XP setting to skip games
Select the Simulation progression option only when you want its 1.25x coach-XP behavior. It will not resolve an entire schedule or move you directly to the offseason.
Troubleshooting common expectations
“I turned on automation, but the game still asks me questions.”
Automation is divided by management area. Verify that each relevant Blueprint option is enabled, then check whether the prompt belongs to a category not covered by those settings. The documented options do not promise that every Dynasty decision becomes automatic.
“I advanced a week and nothing looked customized.”
If you did not change the practice plan, Dynasty uses the safe, balanced management approach described by EA. That behavior is expected; it is not evidence that the season has been simulated in the background.
“I selected Simulation and expected the schedule to finish.”
Simulation refers to coach XP progression at 1.25x, not game or calendar resolution. Use weekly advancement in Dynasty to move through the schedule.
“I want to verify that the season actually finished.”
Continue through bowl season and the offseason, then open Season History. The history screen is where the documented season-level results are retained, including rankings, records, conference standing, championships and bowl results.
Bottom line for College Football 27 players
There is no documented one-click command for simulating every game in an entire College Football 27 season. Start a Dynasty, use the Blueprint auto settings to delegate recruiting, staff and facilities work, and advance the calendar week by week. Treat the separate Simulation option as a 1.25x coach-XP progression setting, not as a season-simulation mode. Dynasty then carries the results into Season History and can continue for up to 30 years.
