It depends on what was deleted. An accidentally deleted THRONE AND LIBERTY character at level 1 or higher is listed in the official Recovery Policy as eligible for one recovery request per character, provided you contact support within seven days and the loss can be verified in archived game records. Deleting the Amazon Games iD associated with the game is different: the same policy expressly excludes progress lost because that iD was deleted.
Character deletion and account deletion are not the same
Players often use “account deletion” to describe two different events. The first is deleting one character from the in-game character-selection screen. The second is deleting the Amazon Games iD that stores or links the game account. THRONE AND LIBERTY’s policy treats those events differently, so identifying the exact event is the first step.

The policy does not publish a recovery success rate. Eligibility means that support may assess a request; it is not a promise that the character will reappear.
When an accidentally deleted character can be considered
The Recovery Policy says the publisher will attempt restoration when account or character progress is lost or changed because of a company-attributable reason or a technical error, as long as the loss is verifiable through in-game records and restoration would not disrupt game balance. Its eligible-use list separately names an “Accidentally deleted character” and sets the threshold at level 1 or higher.

Level requirement
The character must have reached at least level 1. The policy does not describe a different recovery path for a level 0 placeholder or an uncompleted character-creation session.
One recovery per character
The listed allowance is once per character. It is not an unlimited undo function, and submitting multiple requests does not create additional recovery attempts.
Records and verification
Support relies on archived records to establish what existed, when it changed, and whether restoration is technically and operationally possible. The policy says records that were not archived cannot be recovered. Give support precise information so it can locate the correct record rather than asking it to infer details from memory.

The request must come from the account holder. If another person played the character, identify that fact accurately, but submit from the account associated with the character.

The seven-day deadline is the practical cutoff
The policy states: “Players wishing to recover their account/character game progress or items must submit a recovery request through this support site within 7 days from the date of the loss or change.” Count from the date the deletion or other loss occurred, not from the date you first noticed it.
A separate disclaimer says recovery is generally possible when fewer than 15 days have passed because later verification may be difficult. That wording does not extend the request deadline. Treat seven days as the deadline for filing, and send the request immediately even if you are still gathering screenshots or other details.
- Day of loss: record the date and approximate time zone.
- By day seven: submit the support request, even if the initial description is concise.
- After submission: reply to support’s questions promptly; processing time varies with issue complexity and support volume.
Immediate resolution is not guaranteed. A request can be filed on time and still require investigation before support decides whether restoration is possible.

- Sign in to the affected account. Use the account associated with the character. If you normally enter through a linked platform, make sure you are signing into the same underlying account rather than creating a new one.
- Open THRONE AND LIBERTY support and choose the contact or chat route. The official contacting-support guidance directs players to use the support site’s chat. Do not send credentials or payment information to an unaffiliated recovery service.
- Identify the event precisely. State whether you deleted a character, deleted an Amazon Games iD, lost access to an account, or experienced a different progress loss. Do not describe an iD deletion as a character deletion; the policy has separate rules.
- Provide the character name and server. Include the exact spelling, capitalization if known, region or world information shown in the game, and the platform used.
- Give a concise timeline. State when the character was last visible, when the deletion occurred, when you noticed it, and what you did afterward. Include your time zone if the date could be ambiguous.
- Attach relevant details. Include error messages, screenshots, transaction or account identifiers requested by support, and the troubleshooting steps you already tried. Never include a password or one-time security code.
- Submit within seven days. Keep the confirmation or case number. It proves when the request was filed if the investigation continues beyond the deadline.
- Respond through the same case. Add new information to the existing ticket instead of opening numerous duplicate requests, unless support tells you to create another case.
Information that makes verification easier
Support’s contact guidance asks for a clear account of what happened, the character name and server, and any relevant errors or steps already attempted. A useful report can be organized like this:

- Account: the sign-in email or account identifier requested by the support form, without your password.
- Platform: Steam, Xbox, PlayStation Network, or another platform used to access the game.
- Character: exact name, server, approximate level, and the last date you played.
- Event: accidental deletion, missing character after a technical error, or another specific change.
- Timing: date and approximate time of the loss, plus your time zone.
- Evidence: screenshots, error text, and any case numbers from earlier contacts.
- Account links: whether an Amazon Games iD was linked to a platform account and which platform account was used.
Do not exaggerate the circumstances or claim a character was deleted if the underlying problem is a lost login. A precise description helps support apply the correct policy branch.
What happens when a platform account is linked
THRONE AND LIBERTY’s account-linking guidance explains that linking an Amazon Games iD with Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation Network can help support locate the correct account and assist with an issue. If support cannot find the character, state which platform account you used and whether it was linked.
If you see a new or empty character list
Stop before creating or deleting anything else. Check that you selected the same platform profile, region, and sign-in method used before the loss. Tell support that the character list changed and provide the old server and character name.
If you unlinked an account
Describe the unlinking separately from any character deletion. An account-link problem can make progress appear missing without proving that the server-side character was deleted. Support must first locate the original account record.

Deleting an Amazon Games iD has a different outcome
If you deleted the Amazon Games iD itself, the Recovery Policy lists progress lost because of that deletion as ineligible for recovery or compensation. The accidental-character provision does not convert an iD deletion into a recoverable character deletion.
Still contact official support if you are unsure what action occurred or whether the deletion completed. Explain the exact confirmation screens, dates, and sign-in behavior you observed. Support can provide account-specific guidance, but the current policy does not promise restoration of progress removed by deleting the iD.
Requests about personal data associated with an Amazon Games iD are a separate process. THRONE AND LIBERTY’s data guidance directs signed-in users to id.amazongames.com for data requests. That route is not a character-recovery ticket and should not be used as a substitute for the seven-day recovery request.

Even an on-time request can be denied when it falls within an exclusion or cannot be verified. The policy identifies several limiting circumstances:
- Amazon Games iD deletion: progress lost because the iD was deleted is ineligible.
- Account theft: stolen-account losses are listed among the exclusions.
- Device changes or resets: progress lost after changing, resetting, or replacing a device is not automatically recoverable under the accidental-deletion provision.
- Player negligence or unauthorized activity: losses attributed to these causes are excluded.
- Missing archives: data that was not archived cannot be restored.
- Game-balance impact: restoration can be refused if it would disrupt game balance.
- Final decisions: the policy says recovery decisions are final.
These limits explain why support may ask for more information even when the character name is correct. The question is not only whether a deletion occurred, but whether the specific record can be verified and safely restored under the policy.
Common cases and the correct next action

Before you contact support: a quick checklist
- Confirm whether the character or the Amazon Games iD was deleted.
- Write down the character’s exact name and server.
- Record the deletion or loss date, approximate time, and time zone.
- Confirm the character was level 1 or higher, if known.
- Check which platform account and sign-in method were used.
- Gather error messages, screenshots, and previous case numbers.
- Submit through the official support-site chat from the account holder’s sign-in.
- File no later than seven days after the loss or change.
- Keep the case number and answer follow-up questions in the same case.
What the policy does—and does not—promise
The current policy creates a narrow request path for accidental deletion of a level 1 or higher character. It does not promise universal restoration, publish a success percentage, or guarantee an immediate result. Support must be able to verify the loss from archived records, apply the exclusions, and determine that restoration will not harm game balance.
For that reason, the most useful response is to file a complete request quickly and describe the event accurately. If the deleted object was the Amazon Games iD rather than the in-game character, expect the policy’s exclusion to control the outcome.
