Not yet confirmed. Samsung announced USDC functionality for Samsung Wallet on October 7, 2026, with a planned U.S. launch in the last week of October. Its announcement describes sending USDC from Samsung Wallet to compatible external wallets, but does not confirm that you can receive USDC from a Solana wallet or explain how to do it. Samsung’s announcement names Solana among partner capabilities, but that alone does not establish that Solana deposits into Samsung Wallet will be supported.
Why there is no confirmed receive procedure yet
Samsung defines a compatible external wallet as a third-party crypto wallet or exchange account that supports USDC on a blockchain network supported by Samsung Wallet. The announcement confirms transfers in the direction from Samsung Wallet to such external wallets. It does not document the reverse direction, publish the final supported-network list, or give an inbound address or QR-code procedure.

Because those details are missing, there is no verified Samsung Wallet address to copy, network selector to choose, or Solana-to-Samsung transfer sequence to follow. Do not send USDC based on an assumption that a Solana address will work; first verify that Samsung Wallet explicitly supports inbound USDC on Solana and provides receiving instructions for the feature.

The feature was announced for eligible U.S. Galaxy users and was planned to launch in the last week of October 2026. Samsung says users will be able to send USDC to compatible external crypto wallets internationally. It identifies Solana and Sui among technical partner capabilities, but does not say that USDC deposits from either network can be received in Samsung Wallet at launch.

Samsung says it will charge no transfer fee for transfers from Samsung Wallet to external wallets. A recipient wallet provider or exchange may charge its own fees, and transfer speed depends on network conditions. These statements concern outbound transfers only; they do not establish inbound fees or arrival times.
Do not confuse Samsung Wallet with Samsung Blockchain Wallet
Samsung’s separate Samsung Blockchain Wallet guidance illustrates receiving virtual assets by copying an account address or using a QR code. Samsung has not said that this app’s address or QR flow applies to the newly announced stablecoin functionality in Samsung Wallet. Do not use instructions for one product as proof of the receiving method in the other.

Samsung also describes a Digital Assets card in Samsung Wallet that can show assets held in Samsung Blockchain Wallet or linked supported exchange accounts. That existing display feature is distinct from the announced stablecoin transfer service. Samsung lists Coinbase and Gemini as supported exchanges in the U.S. for the existing linked-account feature, while noting that availability can vary and change. Samsung’s announcement says the feature is for U.S. residents aged 18 or older and requires a Samsung Account, account registration, identity verification, biometric authentication setup, and a compatible Galaxy device running Android 13 or higher. Samsung says device and feature compatibility can vary. Its general Samsung Wallet compatibility guidance also notes variation by country or region, model, carrier, and firmware; the feature-specific requirements are the relevant baseline for this announcement.

Samsung said the feature could be available across 82 million compatible U.S. Galaxy devices. That figure refers to devices, not users or accounts.
What to verify before attempting a transfer
Once Samsung publishes feature-specific receiving instructions, confirm every item below in Samsung Wallet and in the sending wallet before authorizing a transfer:

- Samsung Wallet explicitly supports receiving USDC from an external wallet, not only sending to one.
- Solana is listed as a supported network for receiving USDC in Samsung Wallet.
- The exact USDC asset and network shown in Samsung Wallet match the sending wallet’s selected asset and network.
- You have obtained the receiving address or QR code from the correct Samsung Wallet feature, rather than from Samsung Blockchain Wallet or an unrelated linked-account screen.
- Any inbound fees, restrictions, or timing information are shown for the transfer you intend to make.
If Samsung does not provide an explicit Solana receive option and matching instructions, do not proceed. Network names and token labels should match on both sides; a familiar-looking address by itself is not confirmation of compatibility.
Who operates the announced service
Samsung says Bastion will power the cross-border payment framework and that Bastion partnered with Coinbase as official sub-custodian, with USDC safeguarded via Coinbase Prime Vault. Samsung states that stablecoin accounts, custody, and money movement are provided by regulated partners, not Samsung itself. Those partner roles do not establish that a user needs a Coinbase account.
