Watch Dogs: Legion offers online missions and activities with friends. Ubisoft describes co-op missions for two to four players, four-player Tactical Ops teams, and squads of up to four exploring London. Activities include bare-knuckle boxing, freestyle football, couriering, and street art. Ubisoft’s game description and its October 6, 2020 post-launch announcement set out these online features.

Does Watch Dogs: Legion have cross-play?
Yes, with platform-group limits. Ubisoft Help says PC matchmaking works among players using Epic, Steam, or Ubisoft Connect. Console matchmaking is supported within the same console family. Is cross-play on by default, and what if matchmaking fails?
Ubisoft Help says cross-play is enabled by default and that cross-progression is supported. If you cannot join a friend, first check that your platforms belong to a documented group, then make sure everyone is using the online mode. If the pairing should be supported, inspect the in-game cross-play setting and confirm it has not been turned off. Ubisoft’s support article provides the platform-group guidance; consult the current in-game options if the setting or matchmaking behavior differs.
