Yes. Halo Infinite supports cross-play between Xbox consoles and PC. Halo: The Master Chief Collection (MCC) supports Xbox–PC cross-play in multiplayer, plus online cross-platform campaign co-op for Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST. Halo Infinite
- Sign in with the Xbox account associated with your Gamertag.
- Add your friend through the Xbox network.

Halo Infinite Multiplayer is free on PC and Xbox and does not require Game Pass for online play. For MCC, the cited requirements page says console online play requires an active Game Pass subscription. Playing online through Steam does not require Xbox Live Gold. Check the current requirements for your platform and region before subscribing. MCC online requirements

Save data and progress across platforms
MCC supports broad save-data sharing between Xbox console, the Xbox app for Windows PC, and Steam when you use the same Xbox network profile. Shared categories include mission completion, career stats, leaderboards, rank, and several unlocks. That does not mean every activity resumes seamlessly on another device. - Campaign checkpoints from the middle of a mission do not transfer between platforms.
- In-progress missions and partially completed playlists have transfer restrictions.
- Some restrictions differ between Steam and the Xbox app or console versions.
