That is not an official Techland confirmation, so treat the item’s current availability—and the wiki’s mention of player-to-player transfer—as unverified.
Can you get Rais’s Machete in Dying Light?
The Dying Light Wiki entry for Rais’s Machete says it cannot be acquired by normal means and that the reported Arena rubble discovery was debunked. The page mentions player-to-player transfer as the only remaining way it knows of, but this is a community account, not a current, officially verified method. Do not rely on it as a guaranteed route.

Rais’s Machete is not the Arena Machete
The similar names can cause confusion, but these are separate items. The Arena Machete is associated with The Pit mission and is described as retained after the mission. That does not make it Rais’s Machete or evidence that Rais’s weapon can be found in the Arena.

Why you may see different damage or upgrade figures
Community pages disagree about Rais’s Machete’s stats, including damage, upgrade slots, and repair details. One page reports 373 damage and three upgrade slots; another reports 364 damage and four. The sources do not resolve that discrepancy, and one is marked as a stub, so neither set should be treated as authoritative. Exact values are therefore not a reliable way to identify or verify the weapon.
What the 2023 Bloody Anniversary event offered
Techland’s Bloody Anniversary announcement, dated January 31, 2023, described a time-limited event with a Wolfclaw reward for a warm-up goal and Rais-themed outfit and paraglider rewards for a personal goal. The event ended on February 8, 2023. Those historical rewards do not establish that the event can still be claimed, and the announcement does not say that Wolfclaw is Rais’s Machete in the original game.

How to assess claims about finding the weapon
- Check the exact item name: “Arena Machete” and “Rais’s Machete” are not interchangeable.
- Be cautious about old Arena rubble instructions; the community wiki says that discovery method was debunked.
- Treat transfer claims and listed stats as unverified community information, not official confirmation.
- Do not mistake Rais-themed event cosmetics or the Wolfclaw reward for proof that Rais’s Machete is currently obtainable.
