Sometimes, but only when SEGA and Colorful Palette authorize another way to obtain them. A collaboration card does not become permanently unavailable the moment its event closes, yet there is no standing rule that every collaboration will return. The clearest route is an officially announced rerun banner. For example, the Project Sekai (HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE!) × Ensemble Stars!! collaboration received a rerun gacha scheduled for April 13–27, 2026, featuring four collaboration-limited members.
What happens to a collaboration character after the event?
When a limited collaboration event ends, its characters normally leave the active gacha and exchange screens. They do not automatically move into the permanent pool. Future availability depends on a new notice from the publisher for your server and region.
That future notice could describe a dedicated rerun gacha, a combined rerun banner, a select or anniversary-style banner, or an exchange using a ticket. Those are different systems with different eligibility rules. Seeing a rerun for one collaboration is evidence that returns are possible, not a promise that another collaboration will receive the same treatment.
The documented example: Ensemble Stars!!
SEGA announced a rerun of the Project Sekai × Ensemble Stars!! special collaboration for April 13–27, 2026. The notice identified four collaboration-limited members:

- Akito Shinonome
- Toya Aoyagi
- Tsukasa Tenma
- Rui Kamishiro
This rerun is the strongest published proof that players who missed a collaboration can sometimes obtain its characters later. It does not establish a repeating annual schedule for all collaborations, and the April dates apply to that announcement rather than to future events.
Is there a guaranteed rerun schedule?
No universal timetable or publisher guarantee covers every collaboration. Official notices must be read individually because they can differ in banner type, dates, featured cards, exchange limits and server availability.
SEGA’s Version 4.0.0 notes describe a broader change to limited-time gacha reruns: beginning in October 2025, the number of rerun types was reduced from three per month to two. The same notes said that, from October 2026, the yearly rerun format would be combined into a single rerun gacha. Those notes also said that details for some past Birthday and Anniversary limited characters were still to be announced. This is a framework for reruns, not a statement that every collaboration card will be included.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Because the current date is October 2026, treat any planned format change as something to verify in the live in-game News for your account. A policy about Birthday or Anniversary characters does not automatically add collaboration cards to the same banner.
How can you check whether your missed character is returning?
- Open the in-game News first. Look for a notice that names the collaboration and the exact members. A general “limited rerun” message is not enough to establish that your card is eligible.
- Check the official Colorful Stage announcements for your region. The English service and other servers can publish different dates, contents or availability windows.
- Read the banner details before spending. Confirm the start and end times, whether the offer is a gacha or a direct exchange, the featured character list, the currency accepted and any pull or exchange cap.
- Open the exchange screen and inspect eligibility. If you have Limited Gacha Sticker Vouchers, check whether the exact collaboration member appears in the eligible list. A voucher’s existence does not make every past card exchangeable.
- Save a copy of the notice’s conditions. Dates, prices and included rewards can be easy to confuse with the original event. Use the rerun notice itself as the controlling rule.
If no notice names the collaboration, there is no confirmed method to obtain its limited characters at that time. Avoid relying on unofficial calendars or assumptions based on another game’s rerun policy.
Can a Gacha Sticker Voucher be used after a banner closes?
Yes, an eligible Limited Gacha Sticker Voucher can remain usable after the current banner ends. The official English Help Center explains: “Plus, unlike Gacha Stickers, Gacha Sticker Vouchers can still be used even after the current gacha banner has ended.”
That wording describes when a voucher can be used; it does not make every collaboration card permanently exchangeable. The character must still be an eligible target in the exchange system, and the voucher type must match the offer. A voucher saved from one limited banner may not apply to a different collaboration or a different category of limited card.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
What to verify before relying on a voucher
- The voucher is specifically a Limited Gacha Sticker Voucher, not an ordinary Gacha Sticker or another ticket.
- The exchange page lists the exact collaboration member you want.
- The voucher has not passed any displayed expiration or use restriction.
- The exchange is available on your server and during the dates shown in the notice.
- You have the required number of vouchers and have not reached an exchange limit.
If the member is absent from the exchange list, keep the voucher and wait for a notice that explicitly adds that character. Do not spend it on a merely similar card expecting a later conversion.

What kinds of rerun can bring a collaboration character back?
A return is defined by the product and banner named in the notice. The following possibilities should not be treated as interchangeable.
| Possible route | What it may contain | What you must confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Dedicated collaboration rerun gacha | The collaboration’s named limited members, as in the Ensemble Stars!! rerun | Featured-member list, dates, rates or pity rules, currency and pull limits |
| Combined limited rerun gacha | Multiple past limited categories in one banner under the publisher’s rerun format | Whether collaboration cards are included rather than only Birthday or Anniversary cards |
| Select or ticket exchange | Only the cards listed as eligible for that ticket or exchange | Exact character list, voucher type, required quantity and expiration terms |
| Anniversary rerun | Anniversary-themed characters or gachas identified by that notice | Whether the notice names the collaboration card; an anniversary precedent does not cover unrelated collaborations |
The banner label alone is not sufficient. Read the detailed member list and exchange rules, since a “limited rerun” can exclude the particular card you missed.
Do anniversary and ordinary limited reruns include collaboration cards?
Not automatically. A separate Miku Anniversary 2026 notice provides a precedent for reavailability by saying that players who missed previous celebrations would have access to previous Anniversary Gachas. That statement concerns Miku’s anniversary gachas; it is not a blanket promise for collaboration characters.
Likewise, the Version 4.0.0 rerun notes discuss limited-time, Birthday and Anniversary formats without stating that every collaboration will be folded into them. A collaboration can receive its own rerun, as Ensemble Stars!! did, or remain absent unless a later notice specifically restores it.

Are collaboration costumes treated differently?
Yes. Costumes are a separate product from character cards and can have a separate rerun decision. The English Ensemble Stars collaboration notice ran September 4–18, 2025 and offered six exclusive costumes for 3,000 paid crystals. It also said: “These exclusive Costumes may be made available again in the future.”
That language signals possibility, not a scheduled return. Even if those costumes reappear, it does not prove that the four collaboration-limited character cards will be in the same offer. Conversely, a character rerun does not necessarily restore the costumes, stamps, profile materials or login rewards from the original event.

Keep the products separate when checking a notice
- Character card: look for the member’s name in the gacha or exchange eligibility list.
- Costume: look for a costume shop, Premium Gift Gacha or another explicitly named costume offer.
- Event rewards: check whether stamps, profile items, music, titles or login rewards are listed separately.
- Currency: distinguish paid crystals from free crystals and note whether a ticket is required.
The 3,000-paid-crystal figure belongs to the six-costume offer announced for September 4–18, 2025. It should not be used as the expected price for a future character rerun.

- Identity: Is the exact collaboration and character named?
- Timing: What are the published start and end times, including the server’s time zone?
- Banner type: Is it a rerun gacha, a combined gacha, a select banner or a voucher exchange?
- Eligibility: Are all original members present, or only a subset?
- Cost: Which currencies are accepted, and are any paid-only steps, exchange quantities or pull caps shown?
- Extras: Are costumes, stamps, profile materials, titles or login rewards included, sold separately or omitted?
- Limits: Is there a one-time exchange, a cap per account or a deadline for using the voucher?
Record the answers before spending crystals or vouchers. This prevents a common mistake: seeing the collaboration name in a headline but discovering that the desired member or costume is excluded from the actual banner.
What if the collaboration has not rerun?
There is no confirmed in-game method until an official notice supplies one. Keep checking the in-game News and the official Colorful Stage channels, especially around announced rerun cycles and anniversary periods. The absence of a rerun so far is not proof that a collaboration can never return, but it also gives no entitlement to a future appearance.
Quick Recap
Do not treat a rerun of a related product as a substitute. A costume return, an anniversary gacha, a standard limited-character banner and a collaboration-card exchange can each have independent eligibility. Only the notice that names your target card establishes that you can obtain it.

Project Sekai collaboration characters can come back after their event ends, and the April 13–27, 2026 Ensemble Stars!! rerun demonstrates that this happens in practice. Returns are publisher-scheduled rather than guaranteed. Limited Gacha Sticker Vouchers may remain usable after a banner closes, but only for characters the exchange screen marks as eligible. Check the exact rerun notice for your server, and treat character cards, costumes and anniversary content as separate products.
