Why key status matters

Cancellation is not the same as a refund
Canceling Choice prevents future renewals; it does not automatically reverse the charge that has already posted. If you cancel after a renewal, the current paid period normally remains available through its end date. This is especially important for annual or multi-month plans: cancellation generally stops the next renewal while the prepaid period continues, but it does not by itself return money for months you will not use.
When your goal is to stop another charge
- Use Humble’s account billing controls to cancel or pause the Choice renewal.
- Confirm that the account shows a future renewal has been disabled.
- Save the confirmation email or a screenshot with the date.
Performing these steps protects you from another renewal while support considers a separate refund request.
When your goal is money back for the latest charge
Cancellation alone is insufficient. Open a support ticket, identify the latest charge and explicitly ask for a refund. If you have a prepaid annual or multi-month plan, state how many months remain unused and ask whether Humble will refund any of that unused period. 3. Open the Humble help-center ticket form
Go to Humble’s help center and choose the contact option for purchase, billing or refund assistance. Use the account that made the purchase when possible. If you cannot sign in, explain that in the ticket and provide the email address used for the account together with the identifying payment information you have.
4. State the request in the first sentence
Write plainly that you are requesting a refund for a specific charge. Include whether it was an accidental or unwanted Choice renewal, a one-time bundle purchase or another product. Avoid a long narrative before the essential facts; support needs to match the request to an order.
5. Include all identifying details
- The Humble account email address.
- The transaction ID or IDs.
- The charge date and amount.
- The exact bundle, Choice month or game names.
