Removing your original post—or deleting your account—will not erase copies other users have reblogged. Your options depend on whether the copy is on your own blog, you want to prevent future reblogs, or the post may violate Tumblr’s rules or infringe copyright.
What you can and cannot remove
You can delete a reblog that appears on a blog you control. You cannot use Tumblr’s ordinary post controls to delete a copy from another person’s blog. Tumblr’s help pages also explain that deleting the original post, blog, or account does not remove reblogs already made by other users. The copy remains associated with the blog that reblogged it. Choose the option that fits your situation
The reblog is on your own blog
Open the blog, find the reblog, open its three-dot menu, choose Delete, and confirm. On the web, Tumblr’s instructions start from the account icon and blog selection; in the app, use the post’s three-dot menu. Menu wording or placement may vary as Tumblr updates its interface. Deletion removes that post from your blog, not copies on other blogs. Tumblr says deleting a post is final. Tumblr’s reblog instructions.
You want to stop people reblogging a post in the future
When creating or editing your post, use its reblog control and choose “No one” rather than “Anyone (on Tumblr),” if that option is available in the editor. This controls who may reblog the post; Tumblr does not describe it as a way to erase copies that already exist. Tumblr’s privacy options.

A user is bothering you
Block the user from the relevant blog. Tumblr says blocked users cannot follow or message that blog, see its posts in their dashboard, or like or reblog its posts. Blocking applies at the blog level, so you may need to block the person’s other blogs separately. It does not give you control over their blog or delete existing reblogs. The post may violate Tumblr’s rules
Use the post’s three-dot menu, select Report, and choose the category that best describes the issue. Tumblr reviews reports and removes content when it violates its Terms of Service or User Guidelines; reporting is not a general way to remove something simply because you dislike it, and removal is not guaranteed. You own the copyright or are authorized to act for its owner
If you believe the reblog infringes copyright, Tumblr’s Terms of Service provide a formal DMCA notice process. The notice must identify the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material and its location, include contact information, state your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, include the required statement under penalty of perjury, and be signed. A user who believes content was removed by mistake may submit a counter-notification. This legal process is for an actual copyright claim, not simply for an unwanted or uncredited reblog.
