Can Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 connect to phone? The reviewed official setup guides for the PlayStation and Xbox versions do not document direct Bluetooth pairing with a phone. They describe console and PC connections instead, so don’t assume the headset will appear in your phone’s Bluetooth list or that its USB-C port carries phone audio.
What the official setup guides establish
Turtle Beach’s guides cover platform-specific Stealth 600 Gen 2 setups rather than phone pairing. The PS guide uses a wireless mini-transmitter connected to a PlayStation USB port, while the Xbox guide describes Xbox Wireless syncing and Windows PC options. Neither guide provides a Bluetooth-to-phone pairing procedure. Turtle Beach’s Stealth 600 Gen 2 PS guide and Stealth 600 Gen 2 Xbox guide are the relevant setup references.

Stealth 600 Gen 2 PS
The PS guide lists a headset, wireless mini-transmitter and USB-C charging cable. Its setup connects the mini-transmitter to a PlayStation USB port, then powers on the headset. The headset’s USB-C port is identified as “USB Charge & Update Port”; the guide does not describe it as a phone-audio input. Turtle Beach lists 15 hours of rechargeable battery life for the headset described in this guide; the guide does not state a publication year. See the PS setup guide.

The Xbox guide covers built-in Xbox Wireless syncing and PC setup. It does not provide steps for pairing the headset with a phone. See the Xbox setup guide.
Why the Stealth 700 Gen 2 is not a reliable comparison
Turtle Beach documents pairing a Stealth 700 Gen 2 PS headset with a phone or tablet through Bluetooth settings. That support applies to the 700 Gen 2, not the 600 Gen 2; the two model names should not be treated as interchangeable. Turtle Beach’s Stealth 700 Gen 2 guide describes that model’s phone pairing.

- Identify the exact headset. Check the label or product documentation for the full model name and PS or Xbox designation. The reviewed guides cover platform-specific versions, not every possible regional or hardware revision.
- Check the connection you intend to use. The reviewed 600 Gen 2 guides do not establish direct Bluetooth pairing to a phone. The PS guide calls its USB-C connection a charge-and-update port, not a phone-audio connection.
- Confirm adapter support before buying anything. The reviewed official materials do not resolve whether wired or USB OTG phone audio works with an adapter. Ask Turtle Beach support about the exact model and version before purchasing an adapter; compatibility is not established by these guides.
For console or PC setup, use the guide for the headset’s PS or Xbox version rather than a phone-pairing procedure.
