Yes. SpaceX is publicly listed on Nasdaq under ticker SPCX, so investors with access to the listing can look up the shares through a brokerage and place an order under that broker’s rules. SpaceX priced its June 2026 IPO at $135 per share; that is the historical offering price, not a current quote. Check a live market source for today’s price and confirm that your broker supports SPCX in your country.
How to buy SpaceX shares on the public market
For most investors, buying listed shares means searching for SPCX in a brokerage account and placing an order. Before submitting it, check the displayed security, exchange, order type, estimated cost, and any fees or trading restrictions. Market prices can change, and a submitted order is not necessarily filled at the price you first saw.

- Confirm that the result is SpaceX Class A common stock listed on Nasdaq, rather than a similarly named product or an indirect investment.

Broker access varies by provider and location. SpaceX’s IPO prospectus named Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood, SoFi, and E*TRADE as anticipated channels for certain U.S. retail shares in that offering, subject to each platform’s terms. Those historical IPO distribution arrangements do not establish that every platform currently supports SPCX for every customer.
What the $135 IPO price means
SpaceX announced on June 11, 2026, that it had priced an offering of 555,555,555 Class A shares at $135 each and identified SPCX as its Nasdaq ticker. Trading was expected to begin June 12, with the offering expected to close June 15, subject to customary conditions. The company also disclosed an underwriter option to purchase up to 83,333,333 additional shares within 30 days. These figures describe the IPO, not today’s price, the number of shares currently available, or a forecast of future returns.

The prospectus described a directed share program reserving up to 5% of the offered shares for selected employees and people chosen at executive discretion, potentially including business contacts, friends, and family. That was not a general entitlement to receive an IPO allocation. Getting shares in an IPO is a separate process from buying them later on the exchange.
Public shares, private secondary shares and tender offers are different

What to know about private-market SpaceX shares
A private secondary transaction is not the same as buying SPCX on Nasdaq. It generally involves a sale by an existing holder or an investment in a fund that holds or seeks private-company exposure. Nasdaq Private Market describes direct share investments and fund investments, with final trading coordinated with issuer approval. Its SpaceX company profile does not mean a SpaceX transaction is currently open.

The sources available do not establish a current SpaceX private secondary offer, its price, a minimum investment, or current eligibility rules. Before considering a purported offer, establish who is selling, what security or fund interest is being offered, what fees and transfer restrictions apply, and whether the transaction has the approvals it requires. Do not treat a platform listing or an informal solicitation as proof that a completed transfer is possible.

What a SpaceX tender offer would—and would not—mean
A tender offer is a formal securities transaction in which holders are invited to tender shares under stated terms and within an offer process. It is distinct from placing an order to buy SPCX on the public market. SEC staff guidance notes that an agreement to tender can constitute a contract of sale under the Securities Act, and that an issuer seeking tender commitments must consider whether its actions amount to commencing a tender offer.

A tender-offer fund is not the same thing as a tender offer by SpaceX. For example, an SEC-filed Fundrise Innovation Fund document describes that fund as a tender-offer fund, says its shares are not exchange-listed, and warns that no secondary market is expected. Those statements concern the fund’s structure; they do not show that SpaceX is offering to buy its own shares.

SpaceX’s IPO release identifies the ticker and offering terms, while the prospectus contains fuller information about the offering and its risks. The release itself directs readers to the prospectus and risk factors; it is not a substitute for reviewing those disclosures. For a present-day decision, verify the live SPCX quote through a reliable market source and check the broker’s current access rules. Treat any private sale or tender-offer claim as unverified until you can review its actual terms and confirm the relevant approvals and status.
