A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11The UGREEN HomeAgent HA100 is designed to bring local storage, surveillance management, computing, and smart-home control together in one hub. That makes it a plausible replacement for parts of a separate NAS-and-NVR setup, but the available product information does not establish that it can replace every PoE switch or that it will save every household money, space, or administration time. The practical answer depends on the camera connections, storage plan, internet-dependent features, and total system cost.
What the HA100 is meant to combine
UGREEN presents HomeAgent as more than a network-attached storage device: its launch announcement describes local-network storage, security, file management, and smart-home functions in a combined system. The HA100 is specified by UGREEN at 26 TOPS with 16GB of memory, alongside an advertised storage capacity of up to 96TB. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance results. UGREEN’s launch announcement and its campaign page describe the intended feature set.

For someone replacing separate equipment, the key question is not whether the HA100 has a long feature list. It is which functions it can actually take over in the specific home. A NAS stores and serves files; an NVR records camera footage; a PoE switch supplies network connectivity and electrical power to compatible devices. Combining storage and camera management does not, by itself, prove that the hub supplies the required number of PoE connections or power budget.

Space and cables
One hub could reduce the number of standalone boxes, but the product materials cited here do not provide a measured footprint comparison, cable-count reduction, or documented household installation. A PoE camera still needs a suitable powered network connection, and the HA100’s exact built-in PoE port count, speed, and power budget are not established by the campaign information. Do not remove an existing switch from the plan until those specifications and the camera topology are confirmed.

- Entry-level NAS Personal Storage:UGREEN NAS DH2300 is your first and best NAS made easy. It is designed for beginners who want a simple, private way to store videos, photos and personal files, which is intuitive for users moving from cloud storage or external drives and move away from scattered date across devices. This entry-level NAS 2-bay perfect for personal entertainment, photo storage, and easy data backup (doesn't support Docker or virtual machines).
- Set Your Devices Free, Expand Your Digital World: This unified storage hub supports massive capacity up to 64TB.*Storage drives not included. Stop Deleting, Start Storing. - The Smarter Long-term Way to Store: Unlike cloud storage with recurring monthly fees, a UGREEN NAS enclosure requires only a one-time purchase for long-term use. For example, you only need to pay $459.98 for a NAS, while for cloud storage, you need to pay $719.88 per year, $2,159.64 for 3 years, $3,599.40 for 5 years. You will save $6,738.82 over 10 years with UGREEN NAS! *NAS cost based on DH2300 + 12TB HDD; cloud cost based on 12TB plan (e.g. $59.99/month).
- Blazing Speed, Minimal Power: Equipped with a high-performance processor, 1GbE port, and 4GB RAM on Board, this NAS handles multiple tasks with ease. File transfers reach up to 125MB/s—a 1GB file takes only 8 seconds. Don't let slow clouds hold you back; they often need over 100 seconds for the same task. The difference is clear.
- Let AI Better Organize Your Memories: UGREEN NAS uses AI to tag faces, locations, texts, and objects—so you can effortlessly find any photo by searching for who or what's in it in seconds. It also automatically finds and deletes similar or duplicate photo, backs up live photos and allows you to share them with your friends or family with just one tap. Everything stays effortlessly organized, powered by intelligent tagging and recognition.
Storage organization
UGREEN describes a “2+1 storage setup” that separates personal files from security footage across drives, and advertises up to 96TB. That separation can make roles easier to reason about, but it is not a substitute for checking drive compatibility, bay assignment, usable capacity, or redundancy. Advertised raw capacity is not necessarily the space available for files after formatting or a redundancy configuration.
Plan the storage around what must remain available if a drive fails, and keep a separate backup for important files. Surveillance footage and personal documents have different retention and recovery needs; placing them in distinct roles does not automatically create a backup of either one.

Administration and reliability
A combined interface may centralize some tasks, but the sources do not quantify time saved, reliability, or the effect of putting several home functions on one device. Consolidation also creates a shared dependency: if the hub is unavailable, the functions hosted on it may be unavailable together. Consider whether that trade-off is acceptable for camera recording, file access, and smart-home control.

Check the camera and PoE requirements before retiring a switch
UGREEN’s HomeAgent ecosystem includes the SynCare PoE Cam OD600 Pro, described as an outdoor camera using one PoE cable for power and data. UGREEN lists that camera as an optional campaign add-on. This establishes an ecosystem camera offering, not universal compatibility with existing cameras or proof that the HA100 can directly power a given number of cameras.

- Count every camera and other powered device that currently connects to the switch.
- Confirm the HA100’s exact PoE port count, port speed, and total power budget from current specifications.
- Verify that existing cameras’ protocols and recording modes are supported; the campaign information cited here does not establish a complete compatibility list.
- If the HA100 cannot meet the connection or power requirements, retain a PoE switch or include one in the system plan.
Local does not mean fully offline
UGREEN says supported files, photos, video, surveillance footage, and locally generated AI results are stored and processed on HomeAgent. The company also says internet access is required for activation, model downloads, remote access, push notifications, and over-the-air updates. Some notification options may upload event snapshots or thumbnails. Those qualifications matter if the goal is to keep a home system operating without an internet connection or to limit data leaving the property. UGREEN’s campaign page describes these boundaries; its local-first positioning should not be read as a claim that every feature is offline or that no data ever leaves the system.
Compare the complete system, not just the hub
Before replacing separate equipment, compare the current arrangement with the proposed one using the same requirements. Include the HA100, compatible drives, cameras, any switch that remains necessary, and any backup destination. The campaign’s headline capacity and camera ecosystem do not settle those configuration details.

As of UGREEN’s campaign page viewed October 7, 2026, the HA100 was listed at a $1,599 MSRP and a $799 Super Early Bird campaign price. The same page showed a $50 deposit, stated that the deposit was not a final purchase, and said final reward selection would take place on Kickstarter. It estimated HA100 shipping to begin in late February 2027. These are campaign terms and an estimated schedule, not a guaranteed delivery date or ordinary retail availability. Android Central reported on October 1, 2026 that UGREEN had moved the Kickstarter launch date to November 17 and lowered the listed MSRP to $1,599. What a credible “saved me more than space” claim needs
It is reasonable to evaluate more than footprint, but a personal savings claim needs evidence from the actual installation. A useful comparison records the devices removed, the remaining cable and power requirements, the cost of the complete replacement—including drives and cameras—and any change in routine administration. Without that before-and-after information, the sources support a consolidation concept, not a claim that the HA100 has already delivered savings or improved reliability for a particular owner.
