The MS-02 Ultra is designed to accept low-profile graphics cards, but the available evidence does not establish that an RX 9600 XT was installed or tested in it. MINISFORUM documents support examples from the RTX 5060 Low Profile family—not the purported AMD card. Reports about the RX configuration conflict, so treat its claimed gaming results as unconfirmed until the original test is verified.
Was the MS-02 Ultra tested with an RX 9600 XT?
That is not settled by the available reporting. A Geeky Gadgets article published October 5, 2026 describes an “AMD Radeon RX 960 XT” and gives gaming and benchmark results, but that model name differs from the RX 9600 XT in the headline. A separate DNS Club report dated August 15, 2026, summarizing an ETA PRIME video, says the build used a second-hand RTX 5060 and describes the low-profile RX 9600 XT as an unavailable option the creator hoped to use. These are conflicting secondary accounts; neither resolves what was in the original test.

Accordingly, the Geeky Gadgets results should not be presented as confirmed RX 9600 XT benchmarks. The exact card and test configuration need direct confirmation from the original video or test. See the Geeky Gadgets review and DNS Club’s ETA PRIME build report.

What MINISFORUM documents about GPU fit
MINISFORUM describes the MS-02 Ultra as a 4.8-litre workstation mini PC and documents low-profile graphics-card expansion. Its examples include the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 OC Low Profile, ASUS GeForce RTX 5060 LP, and ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5060 Low Profile. The published examples establish that the chassis is intended for certain low-profile cards; they do not establish compatibility with every card of a similar name or size, including an RX 9600 XT.

- Chipset: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030
- Video Memory: 4GB DDR4
- Boost Clock: 1430 MHz
- Memory Interface: 64-bit
- Output: DisplayPort x 1 (v1.4a) / HDMI 2.0b x 1
The manufacturer lists a 350 W internal power supply. That rating alone does not confirm that a particular card will fit, connect, receive adequate power, or work in a given system configuration. Check the exact card’s dimensions, slot width, power draw, and connector requirements against the chassis and system documentation. MINISFORUM’s MS-02 Ultra product page gives the chassis context; its Base Guide lists GPU examples and expansion constraints.
Expansion-slot trade-off
According to the Base Guide, installing a dual-slot low-profile GPU blocks one PCIe x4 slot. That is a practical cost of using the graphics-card expansion space, especially in a workstation build that also needs add-in connectivity or storage.

What independent reviews can—and cannot—show
Independent reviews help describe the MS-02 Ultra as a system, but their figures apply to their own tested configurations, not to a confirmed RX 9600 XT build. Igor’sLAB reported 48.1 dB(A) under load and 214 W load power consumption for its reviewed system. TechRadar describes fitting a dual-slot low-profile GPU and notes the 350 W PSU, but its reported GPU benchmarks were for integrated graphics. These results should not be combined or attributed to the purported AMD configuration.

How to assess an RX 9600 XT fit
Before buying or installing a candidate card, verify compatibility for the exact card variant rather than relying on the GPU family name or a report that may refer to a different model.
Quick Recap
Rank #4
- 【4GB VRAM for Smooth Multitasking】: Equipped with 4GB DDR3 memory and a 128-bit bus width, this GT 740 provides a significant performance boost over standard 2GB models. It ensures smooth 1080P video playback and lag-free performance for office multitasking and basic graphic design.
- 【Triple Display Versatility (HDMI+DVI+VGA)】: Features a comprehensive output interface including HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports. Connect to modern monitors or legacy projectors without needing expensive adapters. Ideal for setting up a dual-monitor workstation to increase productivity.
- 【The Perfect Legacy PC Upgrade】: An excellent, cost-effective solution for reviving older desktop PCs. This card supports DirectX 12 (11_0) and is fully compatible with Windows 11/10/7, making it the go-to choice for upgrading from integrated graphics to a dedicated GPU.
- 【Low Power & Plug-and-Play】: Designed for high efficiency, this graphics card draws all its power directly from the PCIe slot with no external power connector required. It is compatible with standard power supplies, making installation quick and hassle-free.
- 【Quiet & Reliable Cooling System】: Built with an optimized heatsink and a low-noise cooling fan that maintains stable temperatures even during extended use. Perfect for building a Quiet Office PC or a dedicated HTPC for the living room.
- Confirm the card identity. Check the manufacturer and full model number; the reporting mismatch between “RX 960 XT” and “RX 9600 XT” makes this essential.
- Check physical specifications. Confirm that the card is low-profile and compare its height, length, and slot width with the MS-02 Ultra’s available space. Do not assume a dual-slot card leaves all expansion slots usable.
- Check power requirements. Compare the card’s power draw and connector requirements with the system’s power supply and the manufacturer’s configuration guidance. The 350 W PSU rating is not, by itself, a compatibility guarantee.
- Look for exact-system confirmation. MINISFORUM lists RTX 5060 LP examples; the cited documentation does not list the RX 9600 XT. Seek a verified fit and operation report for the precise AMD card and MS-02 Ultra configuration before treating it as supported.
- Keep performance claims configuration-specific. A benchmark is useful only when the tested card, CPU, memory, power limits, and other relevant setup details are clear. Results from an ambiguous report or another review configuration do not answer how an RX 9600 XT performs here.
