Yes—if you are authorized to view the page and have already signed in through the website’s normal login in your browser, you can try capturing the loaded page with FireShot. FireShot captures browser content; it does not obtain credentials or bypass a login wall. Whether an entire long page is captured can vary, so inspect the result.
What FireShot can capture

How to capture a page you can access
- Open the page in its normal browser tab and complete the website’s login process. Only capture content you are permitted to view and save.
- Wait until the protected page itself—not a login form, error message, or loading screen—is displayed.
- Invoke FireShot and choose the visible-area, selected-area, or entire-page mode that matches what you need. For a quick record, the visible-area option captures what is on screen.
- Open or inspect the resulting image or PDF. For an entire-page capture, check that lower sections and other content beyond the viewport are present.
This is practical guidance based on FireShot’s browser-capture workflow, not a guarantee that every authenticated page or site will work.

If only the visible portion appears
A FireShot support report dated 9 August 2023 describes FireShot Pro for Chrome v1.12.18 with Edge 115 on Windows 11: the reporter said the password-protected page was not open in the browser and that only the visible part was captured. This is one historical report, not evidence that all protected pages fail or that current versions behave the same way. The report does not establish a universal cause or fix.
- Confirm that the tab shows the authenticated content you intend to capture, rather than the site’s password prompt.
- If you need only what is currently on screen, use the visible-area capture mode.
- If you need the full page, try the entire-page mode and inspect the output for omitted sections. The available evidence does not support promising that a retry or setting change will fix every failure.
FireShot also documents an API demo, which says the capture API must be explicitly enabled because of security concerns: FireShot API demo. This does not change the browser-login requirement.
