It is possible the PC meets some of shadPS4’s broad hardware minimums, but there is no reliable evidence here that inFAMOUS First Light runs well—or runs at all—on a Ryzen 5 4600G and RTX 3060 12GB. The emulator’s compatibility is game- and build-specific. Its official compatibility page did not show a First Light entry when checked, and a community build aimed at the inFAMOUS games documents tests on a much faster PC. Treat performance on this exact configuration as unknown, not as a promised frame rate.
What the available evidence says about First Light
The shadPS4 project describes the emulator as early in development and warns that many games do not work or have emulation issues. Meeting a general hardware threshold therefore does not establish that a particular game is playable.

When checked, the official compatibility page showed zero tested titles for Windows, Linux, and macOS, and its title table remained at “Loading…”. It did not provide a usable First Light status. That snapshot is not evidence that the game works, nor proof that it does not; check the page again for a current entry before deciding whether to spend time configuring the emulator.
A community repository for an inFAMOUS-targeted custom build says it includes fixes for First Light and Second Son. Its README also notes remaining bugs and initial stutter while shaders compile. The stated test PC was a Ryzen 9 7950X with an RTX 4090—not a Ryzen 5 4600G and RTX 3060 12GB—so its results cannot establish performance on this system.

How the Ryzen 5 4600G compares with shadPS4’s minimums
The shadPS4 Quick start guide lists a minimum CPU with at least 4 cores and 6 threads, a clock above 2.5 GHz, and x86-64-v3 support. AMD lists the Ryzen 5 4600G as a 6-core, 12-thread processor with a 3.7 GHz base clock and boost up to 4.2 GHz. Its published core count, thread count, and boost frequency clear the guide’s numeric thresholds on paper. That is not a game benchmark or proof that the complete CPU requirement is satisfied: the cited specifications do not establish x86-64-v3 support or guarantee smooth emulation.
The guide’s other stated minimums are 2 GB of graphics memory, Vulkan 1.3 with VK_KHR_swapchain and VK_KHR_push_descriptor, at least 8 GB of system RAM, and Windows 10, Ubuntu 22.04, or macOS 26. These are emulator minimums, not recommended specifications for First Light. The installed RAM, operating system, driver, Vulkan extension support, and active graphics adapter for the named PC are not specified.

The Ryzen 5 4600G includes Radeon Graphics as well as its CPU cores. If the system has a discrete RTX 3060 installed, confirm that shadPS4 is actually using it rather than the integrated graphics, and update the graphics drivers. The project guide recommends current drivers for every graphics card, including integrated graphics.
Official build or inFAMOUS-targeted custom build?
| Option | What is documented | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Official shadPS4 | The Quick start guide supports choosing a stable or nightly/pre-release version through QtLauncher. The official compatibility page did not supply a usable First Light entry in the checked snapshot. | That First Light works, is stable, or reaches a particular frame rate on this PC. |
| Community inFAMOUS custom build | Its repository describes game-specific fixes for First Light and Second Son, with possible bugs and shader-compilation stutter. The documented test PC is a Ryzen 9 7950X and RTX 4090. | That the fixes work correctly or deliver similar performance on a Ryzen 5 4600G and RTX 3060 12GB. |
The custom build’s README gives build-specific notes: it says not to enable FSR because it causes graphical corruption in that build, and recommends Precise readbacks, DMA, and shader cache. Those notes are not verified settings for every official shadPS4 release. A vblank frequency matching a target frame rate is also a configuration suggestion, not evidence that the game will sustain that rate.

How to check before investing time in setup
- Check the current compatibility listing. Look for an explicit First Light entry and its status, rather than inferring support from another inFAMOUS game or a hardware checklist.
- Choose a build deliberately. The official guide offers stable and nightly/pre-release choices through QtLauncher. If considering a community build, verify its provenance, the specific release and its game-specific notes; do not treat its high-end test results as a benchmark for this PC.
- Confirm the PC prerequisites. Check installed RAM, supported operating system, up-to-date graphics drivers, Vulkan 1.3 and the required extensions. Confirm the emulator is using the RTX 3060 if that is the intended GPU.
- Use your own game files. The official guide says game, update, and DLC files must be dumped from your own copy. It describes placing a properly named game dump in the install directory and installing updates and DLC separately; it does not authorize downloading copyrighted game files from elsewhere.
- Keep a reproducible test record. If you try the game, note the exact emulator build, operating system, game region and version, graphics driver, selected GPU, and settings. Record whether it launches, what visual or stability issues appear, and performance only under those conditions.
What performance to expect
No cited result establishes a frame rate, resolution, stability level, graphics correctness, or likelihood of completing First Light on this exact CPU-and-GPU combination. The 4600G’s published CPU figures are encouraging against some numeric minimums, but they cannot substitute for a game-specific test; the RTX 3060’s 12 GB of memory alone cannot answer whether the required Vulkan features, drivers, emulator fixes, and game behavior work together. The practical expectation should therefore be “unknown until tested,” not a numerical FPS estimate.
