Yes. An Indian YouTube channel can run multiple live streams at once, subject to YouTube’s general published limits: no more than 10 active streams per channel and no more than 3 active streams per stream key. Both limits apply simultaneously. Scheduling several events does not bypass those caps, and YouTube’s guidance does not guarantee that one event can run continuously for 24 hours or longer without interruption.
How many livestreams can overlap?
YouTube’s current live-streaming guidance, accessed in 2026, sets a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. Both caps apply at the same time. These are general YouTube limits; the reviewed guidance does not state a separate concurrency allowance for Indian channels. YouTube: Get started with live streaming

The limits count streams that are active at the same time, not every event you have scheduled. For example, four overlapping streams cannot all use the same key: that would exceed the three-stream-per-key cap. The channel-wide limit still applies even if you use separate keys.
What “24/7” means for a scheduled event
Scheduling an event, broadcasting several concurrent feeds, and keeping a single event live continuously are different operational tasks. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived, but that statement does not establish a maximum duration for one continuous event, guarantee seamless restarts, or confirm that a scheduled event will remain live indefinitely. Treat uninterrupted 24/7 operation as something to test and monitor, not a platform guarantee. YouTube: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder

Set up multiple scheduled streams
- Check eligibility. The channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. YouTube says a streamer must be at least 16. First-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours. YouTube: Get started with live streaming
- Create an event for each feed. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule each event. Use the event’s encoder setup details when configuring the feed. YouTube: Schedule a live stream
- Configure the encoder for each event. Enter the event’s server URL and stream key in the encoder. YouTube documents reusing stream settings and keys, but key reuse does not override the three-active-streams-per-key limit. Keep a count of how many simultaneous feeds are using each key. YouTube: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder
- Check the overlap against both caps. Before starting, confirm that no more than 10 feeds will be active on the channel and no more than 3 on any one key. A scheduled event that is not live does not itself use an active-stream slot.
- Test and monitor. Preview each event, confirm that viewers can access it, and monitor audio and video while live. For dependable continuous operation, test the intended runtime and any restart process rather than assuming the archive rule means a 24-hour event will continue seamlessly. YouTube: Streaming tips
Plan upload bandwidth and encoding capacity
For locally encoded streams, estimate the combined outgoing bitrate of all concurrent feeds, including any backup feed. YouTube recommends leaving 20% bandwidth headroom: “The total bitrate you’re streaming cannot exceed the amount of upload bandwidth available. Leave a bit of room (20% recommended).” The recommendation is YouTube’s general network guidance, not a guarantee of performance for a particular connection or multiple-stream setup. YouTube: Streaming tips
For instance, if the outgoing feeds together require 20 Mbps, plan for about 25 Mbps of available upload capacity to leave the recommended headroom. Actual needs depend on each stream’s bitrate and whether feeds are encoded separately or relayed. Also assess whether the computer or hardware encoder can process every feed at the chosen settings; YouTube does not specify a universal hardware size for a given number of streams.

Choose how to produce and distribute the feeds
Local software or hardware encoder
YouTube says local encoding can support multiple simultaneous streams. This keeps encoding and control on your own equipment, so the device needs enough processing capacity and the connection must carry the combined upload. YouTube recommends professional-grade hardware encoders for higher-production-value events, but the required capacity depends on how many feeds you encode and how they are configured. Cloud relay or encoder
A cloud service can distribute one feed to multiple destinations, resolutions or platforms, and may reduce the load on a local device. That is not automatically the same as creating several distinct YouTube live events: check that the service supports the event structure and stream count you need. YouTube notes that cloud services can have subscriptions and varying plan limits. YouTube: Get started with live streaming

Continuous playback of uploaded videos
YouTube’s encoder information lists Gyre as a cloud tool for continuous streaming of prerecorded videos. Its inclusion is an example of a service category, not an endorsement or confirmation of how many simultaneous streams it supports. Copyright and channel-policy checks
Before scheduling a 24/7 feed, make sure you have the rights to all video, music, artwork and other material in the stream. A long-running loop does not make copyrighted material permissible. Review YouTube’s current rules and any restrictions shown in the channel’s Live Control Room; platform eligibility and stream limits do not guarantee that particular content can remain live or be monetized.
