Why the 84.9 GB figure is not a PS5 size
Nintendo Life reported an estimated 84.9 GB for the Nintendo Switch 2 Standard Edition, based on the Nintendo eShop listing. That estimate is for a different platform and the report notes it could change; it does not establish the PS5 download or installed footprint.

The same report attributed a Gamescom comment to Call of Duty senior vice president and general manager Johanna Faries: “I believe we landed on 87 gigabytes for launch.” That remark concerns the Switch 2 version, not the PS5 build. Neither the estimate nor the comment supports calling this the largest Call of Duty PS5 install.

The listing says online multiplayer requires PlayStation Plus, sold separately, and that a mobile phone number linked to an Activision account may be required. These are separate from the unresolved question of how much PS5 storage the game will use.
