A temporary server outage, overloaded page, browser glitch, cached data issue, VPN conflict, or network restriction can all make the site appear broken.
Before assuming Bunkr is gone or permanently down, it helps to run through a few quick checks. Most access problems can be narrowed down in minutes by testing the site status, switching browsers, clearing site data, disabling privacy tools, or trying a different connection.

Check if Bunkr Is Down for Everyone
Before changing browser settings or troubleshooting your device, check whether Bunkr is unavailable for other users too. A site-wide outage can make pages fail to load, thumbnails disappear, downloads stall, or files return server errors. If the problem is on Bunkr’s side, local fixes like clearing cookies or switching browsers usually will not help until the service comes back online.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsStart by opening Bunkr in a normal browser tab and noting the exact behavior. A full outage may show a blank page, a “502 Bad Gateway,” “503 Service Unavailable,” “504 Gateway Timeout,” or a connection timeout. A partial outage may be less obvious: the homepage may load, but albums, file previews, or download links may fail. This distinction matters because Bunkr may use separate servers or storage hosts for different parts of the service.

Fast ways to confirm an outage
- Use an outage checker: Search for Bunkr on services that report website downtime, then compare recent user reports with your own issue.
- Check social platforms: Look for recent posts mentioning “Bunkr down,” “Bunkr not loading,” or the exact error message you see.
- Test from another connection: Try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, or ask someone in another location to open the same page.
- Try a different Bunkr link: If one album or file fails but the main site opens, the problem may be with that specific upload or storage server.
If many users are reporting the same error at the same time, wait a while and try again later. Temporary outages often resolve without any action from you. During this time, avoid repeatedly refreshing download links every few seconds, as this can make rate limits or temporary blocks more likely. Instead, test again after 10 to 30 minutes, then move on to local troubleshooting only if other users can access the site normally.
If outage reports are mixed, compare the symptoms carefully. For example, if others say the site is working but you only see a DNS error, your issue may involve your DNS provider, ISP, VPN, or regional access. If the homepage works but a specific file gives a server error, the file may have been removed, moved, or affected by a storage node issue. Confirming whether Bunkr is down for everyone saves time and helps you choose the right next fix.
Refresh the Page and Try a Different Browser
If Bunkr is not working but outage checks do not show a wider problem, start with the fastest local fixes: reload the page and test it in another browser. A failed page load can happen because of a temporary connection drop, a stalled script, an expired session, or a browser tab that has been open too long. Before changing advanced settings, use a fresh load to make sure you are not troubleshooting an old or partially loaded page.
Recommended Free Tools
First, refresh the Bunkr page normally. If the same error appears, do a hard refresh so the browser requests the page again instead of relying on saved files. On Windows or Linux, try Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R. On Mac, try Command + Shift + R. If you are using a phone or tablet, close the tab, open a new one, and enter the Bunkr address again rather than reopening the same failed tab from history.
Quick browser checks
- Open Bunkr in a private or incognito window: This starts a cleaner session without most stored cookies and active logins.
- Try another browser: If it fails in Chrome, test Firefox, Edge, Safari, Brave, or another installed browser.
- Update your browser: Older browser versions can struggle with newer scripts, security rules, or media playback features.
- Check JavaScript: Make sure JavaScript is enabled, since many file hosting and media pages depend on it to load buttons, previews, and links.
- Close duplicate tabs: Several open Bunkr tabs can create session confusion or make the page appear frozen.
If Bunkr works in one browser but not another, the service itself is probably reachable from your connection. The problem is more likely tied to that browser’s settings, stored site data, privacy protections, or extensions. For example, aggressive tracking protection, ad blockers, script blockers, download managers, and media-control extensions can interfere with page elements or prevent redirects from completing. You do not need to remove everything immediately; just use the working browser as a comparison point while you narrow down the cause.
Also pay attention to the exact behavior. A blank white page usually points to a script, cache, or extension issue. A page that loads but buttons do not respond may be caused by blocked JavaScript or a browser compatibility problem. A download or video that starts in one browser but not another may be related to media permissions, pop-up blocking, or built-in privacy controls. Testing with a second browser turns a vague “Bunkr is not working” problem into a clearer local browser issue, which is much easier to fix in the next steps.
Clear Cache, Cookies, and Site Data
If Bunkr loads oddly, keeps redirecting, shows a blank page, or refuses to open files after you have already refreshed and tested another browser, the next quick fix is to clear stored browser data. Browsers save cached files, cookies, login tokens, scripts, and site preferences so pages load faster. When one of those saved items becomes outdated or corrupted, Bunkr may appear broken even though the service itself is reachable.

Start by clearing data only for Bunkr if your browser allows it. This avoids signing you out of every website. In Chrome, Edge, Brave, and most Chromium-based browsers, open the padlock or site controls icon beside the address bar, go to site settings, then remove stored data for the domain. In Firefox, open Settings, search for “Cookies and Site Data,” choose “Manage Data,” find the Bunkr-related entry, and remove it. After that, close the tab, open a fresh one, and try Bunkr again.
Fast browser cleanup steps
- Chrome or Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies or Site settings → See all site data and permissions → search for Bunkr → delete the saved data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → remove the Bunkr entry.
- Safari on macOS: Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → search for Bunkr → Remove.
- Mobile browsers: open browser settings, find privacy or site data controls, then clear cached files and cookies for the affected site if available.
If clearing only the site data does not help, clear cached images and files for the browser, then restart it. You usually do not need to delete your full browsing history. Choose a recent time range first, such as the last hour or last 24 hours, especially if Bunkr was working earlier the same day. If the problem has lasted longer, use “All time” for cached files and cookies, but expect to be signed out of some websites.
After clearing the data, open Bunkr in a new tab and avoid restoring the old failed tab from your session. If the site asks you to verify, accept cookies, or reload media permissions, complete those prompts before testing downloads or previews. A private or incognito window can also help confirm whether stored data was the issue: if Bunkr works there but not in your regular window, the problem is likely tied to cache, cookies, extensions, or saved site settings in that browser profile.
Disable VPNs, Proxies, or Conflicting Extensions
If Bunkr loads slowly, shows a blank page, fails to open files, or keeps returning connection errors, the problem may be coming from traffic-routing tools rather than Bunkr itself. VPNs, proxies, privacy extensions, ad blockers, script blockers, and download managers can all interfere with how a file-hosting site loads pages, checks sessions, or serves media. Before changing deeper network settings, temporarily turn these tools off and test Bunkr again in a normal browser window.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Start with your VPN or proxy. Disconnect the VPN completely, close and reopen your browser, then try Bunkr again. If you use a system-wide proxy, disable it in your operating system’s network settings rather than only turning off a browser add-on. Some VPN servers are blocked, overloaded, or flagged by hosting services because too many users share the same IP address. If Bunkr works after disconnecting, reconnect to a different VPN location and test again. Choose a nearby server first, then try another country if needed.
Extensions to check first
- Ad blockers: They can block scripts, pop-ups, redirects, or file buttons that Bunkr needs to display content.
- Privacy blockers: Anti-tracking extensions may block cookies or session checks, causing login loops or blank pages.
- Script blockers: Tools that disable JavaScript can prevent galleries, previews, and download links from appearing.
- Download managers: Some extensions intercept file links incorrectly and cause failed downloads or endless loading.
- Security extensions: Browser protection add-ons may classify file-hosting pages as suspicious and stop parts of the page from loading.
The fastest test is to open Bunkr in a private or incognito window with extensions disabled. In many browsers, extensions do not run in private mode unless you have manually allowed them. If Bunkr works there, return to your normal browser window and disable extensions one by one. Refresh Bunkr after each change so you can identify the exact extension causing the issue. Once found, you can keep it disabled for Bunkr only, add Bunkr to the extension’s allowlist, or adjust the extension’s filtering settings.
If you are using both a VPN and privacy extensions, test them separately. First disable only the extensions while keeping the VPN connected. Then enable the extensions again and disconnect the VPN. This helps narrow down whether the issue is the browser setup or the network route. Also check for built-in browser privacy features, such as strict tracking protection, secure DNS, or enhanced safe browsing. Temporarily switching these settings to a standard mode can help confirm whether they are blocking required requests.

After making changes, fully reload the page rather than relying on a normal refresh. On Windows and Linux, press Ctrl + F5; on Mac, press Command + Shift + R. If Bunkr starts working, re-enable your tools gradually instead of turning everything back on at once. That way, you can keep your preferred privacy setup while avoiding the specific VPN server, proxy setting, or extension rule that was breaking access.
Try Another Network or Device
If Bunkr is still not working after refreshing the page, changing browsers, clearing site data, and disabling VPNs or extensions, the next fast test is to switch either the network or the device. This helps separate a Bunkr-side issue from a local problem caused by your Wi-Fi, router, phone, laptop, DNS settings, firewall, or mobile carrier. The goal is not to permanently change how you access the site, but to find where the failure is happening.
Start with the simplest comparison: if you are on home Wi-Fi, turn off Wi-Fi on your phone and try Bunkr using mobile data. If it loads on mobile data but not on Wi-Fi, your home network, router, ISP, DNS provider, or local firewall may be interfering. If you are already on mobile data, connect to a trusted Wi-Fi network and test again. A different result on a different connection is one of the clearest signs that the issue is network-specific rather than a general outage.
Quick network checks to try
- Restart your router: Unplug it for 30 seconds, plug it back in, wait for the connection to fully return, then reload Bunkr.
- Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data: This bypasses your router and home ISP settings.
- Try a different Wi-Fi network: Use a workplace, school, public, or friend’s network only if it is safe and permitted.
- Change DNS servers: If pages fail to resolve, try a common public DNS provider such as Cloudflare or Google DNS in your device or router settings.
- Check security filtering: Some routers, antivirus suites, parental controls, and workplace networks block file-hosting or sharing domains automatically.
Testing on another device is just as useful. If Bunkr fails on your laptop but works on your phone using the same Wi-Fi, the problem is likely tied to that laptop’s browser profile, security software, DNS cache, hosts file, firewall, or system settings. If it fails on every device connected to the same network, the network itself becomes the stronger suspect. Try a clean device if possible, such as a phone with no ad blocker or a browser you rarely use, and avoid signing into mulle extensions or privacy tools during the test.
How to interpret the results
| Test result | Likely cause | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| Works on mobile data, fails on home Wi-Fi | Router, ISP, DNS, or local network filtering | Restart router, change DNS, check router security settings |
| Works on one device, fails on another | Device-specific browser, firewall, or software issue | Update browser, disable security filters, reset browser settings |
| Fails on all networks and devices | Possible service outage, domain issue, or regional blocking | Check status reports and try again later |
When testing, use the same Bunkr link each time and the exact error message. A timeout, blank page, DNS error, connection reset, or access denied message can point to different causes. If another network or device fixes the problem, you have narrowed the issue enough to focus on the specific connection or device instead of repeatedly troubleshooting Bunkr itself.
Check for Region Blocks or ISP Restrictions
If Bunkr loads on one connection but not another, the problem may be tied to your location, internet provider, DNS resolver, or local network rules. Region blocks and ISP-level restrictions can make the site appear broken even when Bunkr itself is still online. Common signs include connection timeouts, blank pages, “site can’t be reached” errors, DNS errors, or a browser warning that appears before the page even starts loading.
Start by comparing access across networks. If Bunkr fails on your home Wi-Fi but works on mobile data, your ISP, router settings, or DNS configuration may be involved. If it fails on a school, office, hotel, or public Wi-Fi network, that network may be filtering file-hosting or sharing sites. In that case, the service is not necessarily down; the network may simply be blocking the domain or related content delivery servers.

Fast checks to narrow it down
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data: This is the quickest way to tell whether the issue is tied to a specific network.
- Try a different DNS provider: Change your device or router DNS to a public resolver such as Cloudflare DNS, Google Public DNS, or Quad9, then restart the browser.
- Check the exact error message: DNS errors, refused connections, and timeout messages point to different types of blocking or routing issues.
- Test in private browsing mode: This helps separate network restrictions from cached browser data or logged-in session problems.
- Ask another person in a different region: If it works for them but not for you, location-based routing or filtering may be the cause.
DNS issues are especially common because your browser needs to translate the Bunkr domain into an IP address before it can connect. If your ISP’s DNS server is outdated, filtering the domain, or returning a bad result, Bunkr may not open even though the site is reachable through other DNS services. After changing DNS, flush your DNS cache or restart your device to force a fresh lookup.
ISP restrictions can also affect only part of the service. For example, the main page may open while media files, thumbnails, downloads, or embedded content fail to load. This can happen when a provider blocks certain hostnames, CDNs, or file servers used behind the scenes. If only some Bunkr links fail, test several URLs before assuming the entire platform is unavailable.

If Bunkr is blocked in your region, changing browsers will usually not help by itself. Focus on network-level checks instead: test another connection, use reliable DNS, restart your modem or router, and confirm whether other people in your area report the same issue. Avoid repeatedly changing too many settings at once; make one change, test Bunkr, then move to the next step so you can identify what actually fixed the problem.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to Do if Bunkr Still Is Not Working
If Bunkr still is not working after you have checked the server status, changed browsers, cleared site data, disabled VPNs or extensions, and tested another network, narrow the problem down instead of repeatedly refreshing the same broken page. At this stage, the issue is usually one of four things: a temporary service-side problem, a blocked or removed file, a browser/device configuration problem, or a network route that is failing between you and Bunkr.
Confirm what is actually failing
Pay attention to the exact behavior you see, because each symptom points to a different fix. A blank page may suggest a browser script or ad-blocking conflict. A timeout or “site can’t be reached” message may point to DNS, routing, ISP filtering, or a temporary outage. A file page that loads but will not play or download may mean the individual file is unavailable, overloaded, restricted, or removed.
- Homepage does not load: test again on mobile data or another DNS provider to rule out local network blocking.
- Only one link fails: the specific upload may be deleted, private, corrupted, or temporarily unavailable.
- Video player loads but stalls: try lowering playback quality if available, disable extensions, or download instead of streaming.
- Download starts then stops: check available storage, disable download managers, and try a different browser.
- Security or certificate warning appears: do not bypass it until you verify the URL is correct and your device clock is accurate.
Try basic DNS and connection resets
If Bunkr works for other people but not on your connection, reset the parts of your network stack that commonly get stuck. Restart your router and modem for at least 30 seconds, then reconnect and test again. On your device, toggle airplane mode, disconnect and reconnect Wi-Fi, or reboot fully. If you are comfortable changing network settings, switch DNS to a reputable public resolver such as Cloudflare, Google, or Quad9, then reload the site in a private window.

Check whether the file or link is the problem
When a specific Bunkr link is not working, do not assume the whole service is down. Test the main Bunkr domain separately from the exact file URL. If the main site loads but the file page does not, the uploader may have removed it, the content may have been flagged, or the file server hosting that item may be temporarily unavailable. In that case, waiting and retrying later is more realistic than continuing to change browser settings.
- Copy the link and open it in a private window.
- Check that the URL has not been truncated, modified, or wrapped by another site.
- Remove extra tracking parameters after the core link if the page looks malformed.
- Ask the uploader or source for a fresh link if the page returns a missing-file error.
Wait, retry, or use an alternative path
If every test points to a Bunkr-side problem, give it time. File hosting services can have short outages, overloaded media servers, maintenance windows, or regional routing problems that clear without user action. Try again after 15 to 30 minutes, then later in the day. If you urgently need a file, contact the person who shared it and ask for a reupload, mirror, or different host. Avoid installing random “Bunkr fixer” tools, unofficial downloaders, or browser add-ons that promise instant access; they can create more problems than they solve.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if Bunkr is down for everyone or just me?
Try opening Bunkr on a different device, browser, or mobile data connection. You can also check third-party outage trackers or search recent social posts to see if other users are reporting the same problem. If mulle networks fail at the same time, the issue is likely on Bunkr’s side.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
What should I do first when Bunkr will not load?
Start by refreshing the page, then close and reopen your browser. If that does not work, try another browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari. A quick browser switch often reveals whether the problem is caused by cached data, extensions, or browser settings.
Can a VPN or ad blocker stop Bunkr from working?
Yes, VPNs, proxies, ad blockers, privacy extensions, and script blockers can interfere with Bunkr pages or media loading. Temporarily disable them, reload the site, and test again. If Bunkr works after that, re-enable your extensions one by one to find the conflict.
What should I clear if Bunkr keeps showing errors or a blank page?
Clear your browser cache, cookies, and site data for Bunkr, then restart the browser. Old cookies or corrupted cached files can cause login loops, broken pages, or loading errors. If you do not want to clear everything, remove only the stored data for the Bunkr domain first.
What can I try if my ISP or region is blocking Bunkr?
Test Bunkr using mobile data or another Wi-Fi network to see if the issue is tied to your current internet provider. If it works elsewhere, your ISP, DNS provider, workplace, school, or region may be restricting access. Changing DNS settings or using a reliable VPN may help, but access depends on local rules and network policies.
Bottom Line
If Bunkr is not working, start with the quickest checks: refresh the page, try another browser, clear cache, disable conflicting extensions, and test a different network or device. Also verify whether the issue is caused by a temporary outage, blocked access, or a VPN/DNS conflict before assuming the site is gone for good.
If none of the fixes work, wait a while and check again later, as service interruptions can resolve on their own. For ongoing access problems, switching networks, adjusting VPN settings, or using a reliable alternative may be the most practical next step.
