The Bumbleride Indie Twin is a side-by-side double stroller with a manufacturer-listed width of 29.5 inches, weight of 36 pounds and combined child capacity of 90 pounds. Its four 12-inch air-filled tires and all-wheel suspension are designed with varied terrain in mind, while its width, lifting weight and folded dimensions deserve a practical check at your door, car and storage space. This review reflects Bumbleride’s US product information accessed October 7, 2026—not hands-on testing.
What are the Indie Twin’s key specifications?
Bumbleride lists these specifications for the current US model. They are manufacturer figures, not independent measurements.

The product listing names an air pump and wrist strap as included. Bumbleride also describes the fold as a one-step fold that stands when folded. That is a useful design claim, but the folded package is still 33.5 inches long and 29.5 inches wide: measure the space where you intend to keep it and, if possible, try the fold yourself.

Will it fit through your doors and into your car?
At 29.5 inches wide, the Indie Twin may be narrower than some side-by-side doubles, but a stated width does not guarantee access through every doorway. Bumbleride says the stroller fits a standard doorway; the useful test is whether it clears the narrowest door, gate, elevator entrance or shop aisle on your regular routes.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Measure the narrowest opening you expect to use and compare it with the listed 29.5-inch width.
- Check whether trim, handles, a tight turn or a threshold reduces usable clearance.
- Measure the vehicle’s cargo opening as well as its interior cargo space. The folded stroller measures 33.5 × 29.5 × 14.5 inches.
- Consider the 36-pound listed weight and how high you must lift it into your vehicle.
No independent fit, lifting or folding test is available here. If access and loading will be everyday tasks, try the stroller in person rather than relying on the manufacturer’s general doorway claim.
How does it handle different routes?
Bumbleride equips the Indie Twin with four 12-inch air-filled tires and all-wheel suspension, a setup aimed at smoothing the ride over rougher routes compared with small, hard wheels. That describes the design, not a verified performance result: there is no independent handling or ride test behind this review.
Air-filled tires also need inflation and may require repair. The product page lists an air pump as included. Think about the surfaces you actually walk on, how much tire maintenance you are willing to do, and whether the larger wheel setup suits your daily errands as well as outdoor paths.

Can newborn twins use the Indie Twin?
Bumbleride says each seat reclines into an infant mode without an attachment and can be adjusted independently. For a separate bassinet option, the manufacturer lists the Indie Twin Bassinet for use from birth to 19 lb (8.5 kg) and 30 in (75 cm); one or two bassinets can be mounted on a compatible Indie Twin.
Check the model year before ordering a bassinet
According to Bumbleride, Indie Twin models from 2024 onward have Hot Shoes preinstalled. Models from 2016 through 2023 need Hot Shoe sets to attach bassinets, and two sets are needed to mount two bassinets. Confirm the stroller’s model year and the required parts before buying.
The bassinet is a separate purchase. Bumbleride’s page listed it at $269 when accessed October 7, 2026; the current price may differ. The page lists dimensions of 32 × 12.25 × 9.5 inches unfolded (23 inches to the canopy top) and 32 × 12.25 × 8.5 inches folded, with a 19 lb capacity. It lists the bassinet weight as 5.5 lb; the same page’s metric parenthetical does not match that conversion, so confirm the figure with the manufacturer if weight is decisive.

Bumbleride recommends the bassinet for “naptime walks and supervised sleep” and states that it complies with ASTM F-833, SOR/85-379 and EN 1888. Those are the manufacturer’s claims; this review has not independently checked certification records or assessed safe-sleep guidance. Follow the product’s current instructions and applicable safe-sleep advice for your situation.

Can you attach two infant car seats?
Bumbleride lists adapters for Clek, Maxi-Cosi, Cybex and Nuna infant seats. The car seat does not attach directly without the specified adapter. The product page offers a single adapter and a set, but the specific supported car-seat models should be checked against Bumbleride’s current compatibility information before purchase. Do not assume that every seat from a named brand fits, or that two seats are supported in your exact configuration, without confirming the model and adapter setup.

What should you know about capacity, warranty and support?
The 90 lb figure is the manufacturer’s combined capacity for both children, not 90 lb per seat. The product information cited here does not establish a per-seat limit, so check the current manual or ask Bumbleride before relying on one child’s weight allowance. Bumbleride lists the basket capacity as 20 lb.
Bumbleride lists a lifetime warranty for the frame and one year for fabric components, tires and inner tubes. Its support page describes coverage for manufacturer defects and notes that exclusions apply; accessories are also listed as covered for manufacturer defects for one year from purchase. Read the current terms for exclusions and details rather than treating the whole stroller as having a lifetime warranty.

What should you check before buying used?
Model year affects bassinet attachment requirements, and the frame’s identity matters when checking support or safety notices. Bumbleride’s FAQ gives location guidance for the serial-number and manufacture-date sticker: on pre-2016 Indie Twin models, inspect the underside of the center handle support bar or brake assembly bar. The FAQ also describes a safety-alert and recall-registration process. This does not establish a complete recall history, so check current official recall records using the stroller’s identifying information.
- Ask for a clear photo of the serial-number and manufacture-date label.
- Inspect the frame for damage; check the brakes, harnesses, wheels and tires for wear or faults.
- Confirm which accessories are included and whether any needed adapters or bassinet Hot Shoes match the model year.
- Ask Bumbleride about warranty coverage and transfer terms instead of assuming used coverage.

Who is the Indie Twin best suited to?
The Indie Twin is worth considering if you want a side-by-side layout, need space for two young children, and value large air-filled wheels and suspension for your regular routes. Its relatively narrow stated width is a potential advantage, but the listed 36-pound weight and folded dimensions make it important to verify doorway access, lifting and storage in your own routine.
It is a less straightforward choice if you need a lightweight stroller, have a compact cargo area, or want a guaranteed fit through a particular doorway without measuring. For newborn use, decide whether the seat’s infant mode meets your needs or whether you want one or two bassinets, then confirm model-year hardware and car-seat compatibility before budgeting for attachments.
