Shopping Cart V06 is a free, multi-step checkout interface for Bootstrap projects, with Cart, Shipping, Payment, and Confirmation stages. It is built with plain HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript and can be used in Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects, but it does not include Bootstrap files. Most importantly, it is a front-end demo—not a working store: it does not transmit orders or process payments.
What Shopping Cart V06 includes
V06 puts four checkout stages inside one card, with a connected step indicator and Back and Continue controls. The template publisher describes the following interactions:

- Cart: quantity controls adjust items, and remove controls delete them.
- Shipping: choosing a delivery speed updates the displayed running total.
- Payment: a payment-information step is presented as part of the interface.
- Confirmation: the final view is built from the details entered earlier.

Does V06 need Bootstrap?
No Bootstrap files are bundled. Colorlib describes the templates as plain HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, without jQuery, Bootstrap files, or plugins, and says they can be used standalone or inside Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects. Treat that as the publisher’s compatibility description rather than a guarantee for every project configuration. If your project already loads Bootstrap, check the template’s styles against your existing CSS to avoid conflicting rules. The 2026 collection includes twelve layouts for different uses, from classic carts and mini-cart dropdowns to one-page and multi-step checkout, order confirmation, and carts for boutique, grocery, and digital products.

Is it a real checkout or just a front-end demo?
It is a user-interface template, not a commerce backend. Colorlib says its examples do not take payments or send anything. A payment form shown in a demo is not payment processing, and a confirmation screen does not establish that an order was received. The page’s quantity and shipping interactions should likewise not be treated as authoritative store calculations.
For a production store, connect the interface to the store or platform’s cart API so it renders current cart lines. Keep totals calculated and validated by the server, rather than trusting browser-side values. Send customers through a payment provider’s hosted fields or checkout session; do not handle card data directly in a demo form. Colorlib’s implementation guidance outlines this separation.

License: what “free” means for commercial use
Colorlib states that its templates, including V06, are free for personal and commercial projects under CC BY 3.0, provided the credit link is retained. Review the license terms before using the template, especially for client work or a commercial site; free use does not mean attribution can be removed.
