For a real-world point of comparison, Tom’s Guide’s August 29, 2025 hands-on review describes the Butterfly 2, not the original. That reviewer reported using it on journeys, buses and trains, and said it handled cobbles, grass and light gravel in their use. They also noted the fold and storage. Which accessories fit, and what should you verify?
Accessory fit is generation-specific. Bugaboo lists a bumper bar, rain cover and car-seat adapters for the Butterfly 2; that does not establish compatibility with the original Butterfly. The company also says its original comfort wheeled board + does not fit the Butterfly 2.
