What the Kitchen Wizz 8 BFP560 includes
Breville Australia identifies the silver model as BFP560SIL and marks it discontinued. Its product page lists a stainless steel spindle, Quad blade, adjustable slicer, reversible grater, dough blade and potato peeler. #1 Best Overall
- Built-in bowl scraper saves time. Quickly process ingredients without stopping to use a spatula. Simply move the scraper from side-to-side to scrape the bowl while the food processor is running or the power is off — no need to remove the lid.
- Slice, shred, chop, mix and puree with 2 versatile attachments. The Hamilton Beach food processor gives you 5 processing functions and includes a stainless steel slicing/shredding disc and chopping/pureeing blade so you can tackle every job with ease.
- Powerful 450 watt motor. Make healthy salads, homemade salsa, hearty acai bowls and more. The 450 watt motor easily powers through the toughest ingredients, so you can spend less time processing and more time enjoying.
- Precise control with 2 speeds plus pulse. The low and high speeds plus pulse give you the control you need for a variety of recipes. Use the high speed when you need more power and select the low speed for processing or mixing delicate foods.
- 10 cup bowl capacity. The generous 10 cup bowl fits large volumes of food all at once, and the large feed chute saves you time by reducing the need to pre-cut food before processing or using as a vegetable chopper.
What the attachments are designed to do
Slicing and grating
The adjustable slicer has 24 settings from 0.3 mm to 8.0 mm, according to Breville. A reversible grater is also listed. The range offers flexibility for different slice thicknesses, but the documentation does not independently establish consistency or results with particular ingredients.
Chopping and dough mixing
The Quad blade is the listed chopping tool, while a separate dough blade is included. The two speeds and pulse control let the operator select how the machine runs; the official material does not provide comparative test results for chopping, mixing or other tasks.

- Simply stack and press to chop: The patented stack & press design makes it easy to assemble and use. Simply press the lid to chop and release to stop. Since all you do is stack the lid on top of the bowl, no difficult twist-locking is needed.
- Perfect size for everyday use: Chop and mix up to 3 cups of ingredients every day of the week with this 3 cup chopper. It's the perfect size for everyday use, yet small enough for easy storage.
- Easily chop, puree and emulsify with stainless steel blades: Durable stainless steel blades make easy work of a multitude of ingredients including onions, carrots and nuts. Oil dispenser on lid makes it easy to emulsify dressings, dips and sauces.
- Easy to clean: The bowl, lid and removable blades of the Hamilton Beach chopper are all dishwasher safe.
- Power through tough ingredients: This small food chopper has a 350 watt motor to provide all the power you need to prepare all types of food including onions, nuts, herbs, hummus, dressings and homemade baby food.
Potato peeling
Breville says the peeler can handle up to seven potatoes in 30 seconds. The manual describes batches of six to seven potatoes in 30 seconds. Treat this as a manufacturer claim, not a verified performance result; potato size and condition may affect the outcome.
The BFP560 does not include a blender jug
The manual distinguishes the Kitchen Wizz 8 from the Kitchen Wizz 8 Plus: the blending jug is part of the BFP580 Plus only. A BFP560 comes with the other tools and accessories listed for that model, excluding the jug. If blending is essential, do not buy a BFP560 expecting a jug in the box; check the exact model number rather than relying on a similar product name.

Is a discontinued BFP560 worth buying?
It may suit someone seeking a food processor with a broad set of processing tools, provided the price, condition and electrical compatibility make sense for the particular unit. It is a less straightforward choice when you need a blender jug, a new unit with clearly supported regional warranty coverage, or certainty that replacement parts are readily available.
Before buying an older or imported machine, check:
- Model and condition: confirm the label says BFP560 or BFP560SIL, inspect wear and damage, and ask what has been used or replaced.
- Electrical rating: verify voltage on the unit itself and whether it is appropriate for your supply. The Australian listing specifies 220–240 V; that does not establish the rating of every regional version.
- Included tools: confirm the bowl, lid, pusher, spindle, blade, discs and peeler are present if you need them. The blender jug is not a BFP560 accessory.
- Warranty and seller: confirm whether the seller is reputable and whether any warranty applies to this unit, market and purchase date. The Australian page’s 1-year limited warranty statement is not a guarantee of coverage for a used or imported machine.
- Replacement-part fit: check compatibility against the precise model and part before ordering; a similar Kitchen Wizz name is not enough to establish fit.
Replacement parts and ongoing support
Breville Australia’s BFP560 page lists replacement components including the spindle, slicing disc assembly, pusher, processing bowl assembly, peeler disc, lid, dough blade, Quad blade kit and shredding disc. A listing does not establish that a part is currently in stock, available in every country, or compatible with every regional SKU. Check current availability and fit with Breville or the seller before purchase.

Verdict
The BFP560’s documented appeal is its mix of core food-processing tools and its stated bowl capacity, while its key limitation is easy to miss: it is not the BFP580 Plus and does not come with a blender jug. Breville Australia marks the silver BFP560SIL discontinued, so a purchase decision depends on the exact unit, included accessories, electrical rating, seller and parts support. The official documentation supports a specification-led assessment, not a claim of personal testing or independently measured performance.
