The Breville BBL925 Super Q is a feature-rich blender, but Breville Australia now labels the model discontinued. Its official Australian listing describes a 2 L jug, a 700 ml personal blending vessel, 12 speeds, five preset programs and Vac Q vacuum-pump capability. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. Check the exact BBL925BSS offer before buying: regional listings differ, and US BBL920 details should not be treated as proof of BBL925BSS specifications or compatibility.
What model is this review about?
Breville’s Australian product page identifies the Super Q as model BBL925. That is the model relevant to the BBL925BSS name in this review. The page currently marks BBL925 as discontinued, so any remaining stock may depend on a retailer or local market; the page does not establish current availability of a specific BBL925BSS offer. Breville Australia’s BBL925 page is the source for the regional product description.

Breville’s US page is for the related BBL920, not BBL925BSS. Its ratings, warranty, package contents and listed replacement parts should therefore be read as BBL920 information only. Breville’s US BBL920 page does not confirm those details for the BBL925BSS.

Noise suppression
Breville describes noise-suppression technology and a cooling system intended to reduce operating noise. The product information does not provide an independent sound measurement, so there is no substantiated decibel figure or basis for saying how quiet the blender is compared with another model.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsVac Q vacuum-pump capability
Breville says the Vac Q removes air from the jug before blending and can improve texture, colour and flavour for some mixes. That is a manufacturer claim, not a verified result for every recipe. The Australian BBL925 page says the Vac Q is included, but package contents should be checked against the precise offer.

Regional listings are not interchangeable
The related US BBL920 listing reports different specifications from the Australian BBL925 page. These figures illustrate why the model and market must remain attached to every specification; they do not establish the BBL925BSS’s US-market rating or terms.
| Detail | Australian BBL925 listing | US BBL920 listing |
|---|---|---|
| Motor rating | 2400 W | 1800 W |
| Blade-tip speed | Up to 300 km/h under load; tested with 1.6 L of water | 186 mph under load |
| Main jug | 2 L | 68 oz |
| Personal vessel | 700 ml | 24 oz |
| Warranty | Not stated on the cited BBL925 page | 10-year limited warranty, as listed for BBL920 |
| Vac Q | Page says included | Page says sold separately |
The US page also lists 120 V, 12 speeds and five programs for BBL920. These are not confirmed BBL925BSS specifications. The US warranty is likewise a BBL920 listing detail, not an established warranty for the Australian BBL925 or every BBL925BSS sale.

What comes in the box?
Breville Australia’s BBL925 page lists a recipe book, tamper and spatula, and says the Vac Q is included. The US BBL920 listing also names a recipe book, tamper and spatula, but says the Vac Q is sold separately. That difference makes the seller’s exact SKU and package list important: do not assume that a bundle or regional listing matches the Australian page.

Breville’s BBL920 instruction manual says its personal cup is for smaller volumes up to 700 ml, that only selected programs are enabled with that vessel, and that the jug is recommended for larger volumes up to 2 L. This is operating context for BBL920; verify the instructions for the exact BBL925BSS before relying on identical operation. Read the BBL920 instruction manual.

Breville’s US BBL920 page lists parts such as a cup kit, cup blade kit, bottle, lids and jug. The listing does not prove those parts fit BBL925BSS. Before ordering a replacement cup, blade, jug or lid, have Breville or the seller confirm compatibility with the complete model number and market-specific SKU.
Is the BBL925BSS worth considering?
The published BBL925 feature set is broad: two vessel sizes, preset and manual controls, and a vacuum-pump accessory according to Breville Australia. But this is a discontinued model, and the information available here does not establish current BBL925BSS stock, a particular seller’s bundle, model-specific replacement-part fit or an independently measured performance advantage. A buyer should weigh the specific unit and its confirmed contents rather than assume that BBL920 listings fill those gaps.
Quick Recap
- Check that the listing says BBL925 or BBL925BSS, not only Super Q.
- Confirm the seller’s market, voltage and warranty terms for that unit.
- Ask whether the Vac Q, personal vessel, tamper, spatula and recipe book are included.
- Confirm replacement-part compatibility directly before buying any BBL920-listed component.
