BrenX Ltd. said on October 15, 2026, that its 32 MWh bGen thermal-energy-storage system at Tempo Beverages reached approximately 85 tons of steam per operating day during commissioning. That is about 15 tons per day, or roughly 21%, above the project’s approximately 70-ton base case and minimum contracted take-or-pay level. The result is promising, but it is not yet proof of sustained commercial output or additional realized revenue.
What BrenX reported at Tempo
The Tempo installation uses BrenX’s bGen thermal-energy-storage technology to produce industrial steam. During commissioning, the system reached approximately 85 tons of steam per operating day. BrenX is targeting full replacement of Tempo’s steam demand, which the company puts at approximately 90 to 100 tons per operating day.

The reported output therefore covers most, but not all, of the stated demand range. At 85 tons per day, the remaining gap is approximately 5 tons at the low end of demand and 15 tons at the high end. Whether that gap closes will depend on continued commissioning, operating conditions and customer acceptance.
How 85 tons compares with the project model
| Measure | Figure | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Tempo storage capacity | 32 MWh | Rated energy-storage capacity of the bGen system at the beverage plant |
| Reported commissioning output | Approximately 85 tons per operating day | Highest operating-day result disclosed in the October 15 announcement |
| Base case and minimum take-or-pay level | Approximately 70 tons per operating day | The output level used in the financial model and covered by the contracted minimum |
| Annual equivalent of the base case | Approximately 19,000 tons per year | BrenX’s stated annualized equivalent for the 70-ton operating-day assumption |
| Tempo steam demand | Approximately 90–100 tons per operating day | The range BrenX says it is targeting the system to replace |
The difference between 85 and 70 tons is approximately 15 tons per operating day. In simple percentage terms, the commissioning result is about 21% above the base case. That comparison matters because the 70-ton figure is not merely an internal estimate: it is also the minimum contracted take-or-pay level used in the project’s model.

Does the result mean higher revenue for BRNX?
Potentially, but the announcement does not establish a realized increase. Steam delivered above the 70-ton contracted minimum could create revenue upside if it is accepted and paid for under the commercial agreement. BrenX has not disclosed incremental revenue from the additional output, a revised financial forecast or a new earnings target.
The distinction is important for investors. A commissioning-day result is an operating datapoint, while revenue depends on sustained production, contractual measurement, customer acceptance, billing terms, demand and the project’s transition into commercial operations. The disclosed 85 tons should therefore be read as potential upside to the original model, not as guidance for BRNX sales or profit.

Has BrenX proven sustained production at 85 tons per day?
No. Commissioning was still in progress when BrenX announced the result. The company did not provide an independently audited, sustained-output time series, and it did not announce a completed customer acceptance test. One reported operating-day level cannot show how the system will perform over a longer period, through changing loads, maintenance intervals or other plant conditions.

BrenX also identified several factors that could cause actual results to differ from expectations, including completion of the project, sustained production, commercial operations, customer acceptance, financing, demand, technology performance, regulatory requirements, supply-chain conditions and geopolitical events. Those qualifications apply before the 85-ton result can be treated as a durable operating baseline.

What full steam replacement would require
Tempo consumes approximately 90 to 100 tons of steam per operating day according to BrenX. Reaching 85 tons means the system is close to the lower end of that range, but full replacement would require output to rise by roughly 5 to 15 tons per day, depending on the facility’s actual demand on a given day.
- At 90 tons of demand: about 5 additional tons per operating day would be needed.
- At 100 tons of demand: about 15 additional tons per operating day would be needed.
- For the contract model: 70 tons per operating day remains the disclosed minimum take-or-pay level, regardless of the higher commissioning result.
Demand coverage is also a separate question from storage capacity. The 32 MWh figure describes the system’s energy-storage capacity; it does not by itself guarantee a particular daily steam output under every operating schedule.

Wolfson Medical Center adds a second deployment milestone
BrenX separately reported groundbreaking and civil works for a 12 MWh bGen system at Wolfson Medical Center. That project is a commercial-deployment milestone and shows that another installation has moved into physical development.
It should not be treated as evidence that the Tempo system has achieved sustained output or that the Tempo financial model will be replicated. The Wolfson announcement does not establish its eventual steam production, operating schedule, customer acceptance status or realized economics.

What investors should watch next
The most decision-useful updates will be operational and contractual rather than another single-day production figure:
- A sustained production record showing output over a defined period.
- Confirmation that commissioning is complete and commercial operations have started.
- Completion of Tempo’s customer acceptance process.
- Evidence that steam above the 70-ton minimum is contracted, accepted and invoiced.
- Any change to BrenX’s financial model, revenue outlook or disclosed project economics.
- Progress on construction, commissioning and acceptance at Wolfson Medical Center.
Until those items are disclosed, the clearest reading is that BrenX has demonstrated commissioning output above its modeled minimum, while the durability and financial value of that performance remain unconfirmed.
Company context
BrenX is described as a NASDAQ-listed developer, owner, operator and optimizer of integrated industrial energy infrastructure centered on bGen thermal storage. The Tempo result is therefore relevant both as a project update and as an early operating signal for the company’s commercial-deployment strategy. It is not, by itself, a validation of every future installation or of the company’s overall financial outlook.
