The report is the only source for the price and the “record low” label, and it does not show that the listing was still live on October 9. Check the live Amazon listing before you buy.
What the October 8 report says
Creative Collaboration’s October 8, 2026 article states that the Bose QuietComfort headphones remained at $169 on Amazon once the sale ended, and that this was a record-low price for Prime Big Deal Days. The article is an attributed report. It is not a price check that I or anyone else confirmed on a live page, and the reporting does not include a full price history showing that $169 was the lowest the headphones have ever sold for.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
That distinction matters. “Lowest price ever” is a strong historical claim, and the only support for it found here is the deal report’s own wording. Amazon’s official event materials do not independently document a price series for this product.

When the event ran
Amazon announced Prime Big Deal Days 2026 for October 6 and 7, 2026. Its official roundup says the event ended at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, which is 2:59 a.m. EDT on October 8. The two time zones put the end of the sale on different calendar days, so a price that a reader sees on the morning of October 8 may fall in either window depending on where they are.

Which model and color the report covers
Amazon’s roundup names the Bose QuietComfort Headphones and highlights a limited-edition Twilight Blue version. According to Amazon, that version offers active noise cancelling, deep bass, up to 24 hours of playtime, and USB-C charging. These are Amazon’s product claims, not measurements from an independent test.

The deal report does not say which colors, which generation, or which seller its $169 figure applies to. Do not assume the Twilight Blue edition is the model in the report, and do not assume every color or generation sold at $169. Confirm the exact product on the listing you intend to buy.
How to check the price before you buy
- Search Amazon for “Bose QuietComfort Headphones” and open the listing that matches the model generation and color you want.
- Compare the listed price with $169 and note whether the price is a deal price or the regular list price shown on the page.
- Confirm the seller. A listing sold directly by Amazon and one sold by a third-party seller can have different prices, return terms, and warranty handling.
- Check the color and generation in the product title and specifications against the item you want.
- Review the shipping estimate and the price shown at checkout, since shipping or taxes can change the final amount.
Because this was a short-lived retail offer, the price may already have changed. If the listing shows a higher price, the October 8 report does not establish that $169 is still available.

What remains unconfirmed
- Whether the $169 price was still live on Amazon on October 9, 2026.
- Which seller, color, or model generation qualified for the price.
- Whether $169 was the lowest price across all retailers and configurations, or the lowest price the headphones have ever sold for.
Until those points are checked against a live listing or a dated price history, treat the “record low” label as the report’s claim rather than a verified fact.
