Its headline runtime of 40 minutes applies only to Eco mode with a non-electrical accessory; with the powered floor nozzle, Bosch’s claims range from 30 minutes in Eco to 10 minutes in Turbo. That distinction—and the exact Australian accessory bundle—matters more than the headline figure when deciding whether it suits your home.
What the BCS711WAU includes and does
Bosch lists the BCS711WAU as the white Unlimited 7 model for Australia. Its key features include a 90-degree Flex Tube for reaching beneath low furniture, Quick Stand, Auto mode, three power modes, and an AllFloor DynamicPower Brush with integrated floor lights. The bagless RotationClean system is designed to clean the filter with less manual handling. Bosch lists the ready-to-use weight, including tube and floor nozzle, as 2.9 kg, and the dust container capacity as 0.3 L.

The Australian specification lists these accessories: a 2-in-1 furniture brush and upholstery nozzle, crevice nozzle, mattress nozzle, XXL upholstery nozzle with clip, long flexible crevice nozzle, keyboard and drawer nozzle, charging cable, and docking station for the appliance and accessories. Bosch warns that accessories vary between Unlimited 7 models, so check that a seller’s listing specifically identifies BCS711WAU and confirms the included tools. The equipment of another Unlimited 7 bundle—including an Aqua version—should not be assumed to match.

How long does the BCS711WAU battery last?
Bosch’s runtime figures are manufacturer claims per 3.0 Ah battery pack, not a single all-purpose estimate. The mode and attachment change the result:

Bosch cites EN IEC 62885-4:2020 for its Eco runtime test. In practical terms, the 40-minute maximum is not the relevant figure for a floor-cleaning session with the powered head: use the 30-minute Eco claim as the closer comparison, or the Auto and Turbo figures if those modes better reflect how you clean.

The vacuum has one exchangeable 18 V Power for All battery, and Bosch says an additional battery can extend runtime. Its documentation identifies BHZUB1830 as an exchangeable battery and BHZUC183AU as a quick charger. Check the exact local compatibility and current stock before buying a separate battery or charger. Bosch lists a five-hour charging time for the product.

Bosch claims up to 99.9% dust pickup, measured in Turbo mode on hard floors with crevices under EN 60312-1:2017. That is a specific manufacturer test condition, not a promise of the same result on carpet, upholstery, or every floor in a home. The available public CHOICE listing does not provide a readable performance score or detailed independent test measurements, so the pickup claim should not be treated as independently verified here.

CHOICE lists the BCS711WAU and says Bosch identified it as one of CHOICE’s recommended stick vacuums for 2024. That is dated recognition, not a current score or a ranking against today’s alternatives. CHOICE’s public model listing shows its expert rating is available to members.
Warranty, price and buying checks in Australia
Bosch advertises a free 10-year motor guarantee, subject to registration and the applicable terms. This is a motor guarantee, not a 10-year warranty covering the whole appliance. CHOICE lists a two-year warranty separately from the 10-year motor warranty. Review Bosch’s current product and guarantee information for registration requirements, exclusions and the claim process.

Bosch page captures showed different prices—$499 including GST on one product-page snapshot, with a free quick charger offer, and $449 on a separate official result—so neither figure establishes the current price. Check the live listing, offer eligibility and dates before purchasing. Bosch’s overview also described a 30-day money-back guarantee that was valid only until 31 December 2025; it should not be treated as a current offer.

Who is the BCS711WAU suited to?
The BCS711WAU is worth considering if you want the flexibility of a cordless stick vacuum, value an articulated tube for cleaning under furniture, and expect to use its broad set of small-surface tools. The separate battery option may also matter if you want to swap batteries rather than wait for a recharge.

It is less compelling if your decision depends on treating 40 minutes as typical powered-floor runtime, or if you need published independent performance figures to compare cleaning results. Its 0.3 L bin also means frequent emptying may be part of regular use in a larger or particularly dusty home. For a like-for-like comparison with another cordless vacuum, match powered-head runtime and mode, ready-to-use weight, bin capacity, battery options, included tools, warranty scope and current Australian price.
