ProductReview.com.au labels the LI+ discontinued, while Castorama’s French ART 26-18 LI listing says that product is no longer offered there. Those are signals from particular Australian and French pages, not proof that no stock remains in every market.

The ART 26-18 LI cuts with replaceable plastic Durablade elements rather than nylon line wound onto a spool. That avoids managing a line spool, but it makes blade wear and access to replacement elements part of the ownership decision. Bosch’s manual calls for approved cutting elements and includes blade inspection and replacement procedures. Confirm that any replacement is specified for the exact ART 26-18 LI and the relevant cutting-element type; user reports of confusion or supply problems do not prove that parts are universally incompatible.

Owner feedback
On the ProductReview.com.au page captured in 2026, the ART 26-18 LI+ had a 2.8/5 rating from seven reviews, most shown as dating from roughly eight to ten years earlier. Comments include praise for easy handling and garden results as well as complaints about blade wear, replacement cost or supply, awkward handling, and trimming close to hard edges. This small, older set of personal experiences is not a durability test.
Castorama’s French ART 26-18 LI page, also captured in 2026, showed 2.8/5 from five reviews dated 2018–2019. The comments were mixed, including positive remarks about results and complaints about blade breakage or retention and a preference for line-style trimming. These historical retailer reviews should not be treated as controlled results or representative of all users.

Specifications and test data
CHOICE’s indexed product entry lists a 26 cm cutting width and 2.5 kg weight, but its laboratory scores, measured battery life under load, noise results, and test year are not exposed in the accessible listing. Its weight should not be assumed to describe every kit or battery configuration. A French Castorama listing describes a version with a 2.5 Ah battery, but that is a retailer-specific package detail, not a universal specification for every ART 26-18 LI sold.
Safety and routine blade care
Bosch’s manual warns that the blade keeps rotating briefly after the tool is switched off. Let it stop completely before restarting or approaching the cutting area. Remove the battery before adjustment or cleaning, and follow the manual’s blade-checking and replacement instructions. Use only cutting elements Bosch approves for the tool; the manual notes that performance can vary with the element used.
