Bootstrap Footer V10 is a free newsletter-focused footer layout with a prominent signup call to action, three link columns, and rounded form styling, according to Colorlib’s September 28, 2026 guide. It may suit a site that wants email signup to stand out, but the visible form alone does not confirm that submissions reach a mailing-list service. Plan to connect and test that part yourself.

What Bootstrap Footer V10 includes

Colorlib describes V10 as a footer designed to collect email subscribers. The signup prompt sits above the form, while three columns provide space for grouped site links; rounded styling gives the form a softer visual treatment. The author, Rok Krivec, characterizes the layout this way: “Newsletter-first: the subscribe form gets its own persuasive line above it.” Read Colorlib’s Bootstrap footer guide.

That description establishes the layout, not a comparative ranking. It does not show that V10 is superior to other footer designs, or establish how the specific template behaves on different screen sizes or with assistive technology.

Does the signup form actually collect email addresses?

A text field and subscribe button are only the front end of a signup flow. The available description does not verify that V10 connects to an email marketing platform or server, stores addresses, validates submissions, or displays a success or error message. Before collecting addresses, connect the form to your chosen mailing-list service or server endpoint and test a complete submission, including the success and failure paths.

Can you use it with Bootstrap?

Colorlib describes its footer collection as rebuilt in plain HTML and CSS and says the snippets can be used standalone or in Bootstrap 4, 5, or 6 projects. That is a collection-level description; the exact V10 download and any package-specific dependencies have not been independently confirmed. Check the files and instructions in the download rather than assuming this particular version needs no framework or additional setup.

How to adapt the footer for a website

  1. Choose the layout: Confirm that a prominent newsletter prompt and three link groups fit your site’s content and navigation.
  2. Replace the sample content: Write a signup message that accurately describes what subscribers will receive, and replace sample links with destinations on your site.
  3. Match the site’s design: Adjust colors, typography, spacing, and form styling to suit the rest of the page.
  4. Connect the form: Set its submission destination to your mailing-list provider or server endpoint. Verify that the destination handles submissions securely and returns a clear outcome.
  5. Explain the signup: Add consent and privacy information appropriate to your audience and applicable requirements.
  6. Test before launch: Check the footer on mobile and desktop, navigate it with a keyboard, and submit test addresses to confirm the complete signup flow.

Check the license before using a free template

“Free” does not mean the same license for every template. BootstrapMade’s official free-license page, for example, permits personal projects but requires the “Designed by BootstrapMade” credit and prohibits client work or charging for the work. Its stated free-license exclusions include the working PHP/AJAX contact-form script, Sass/SCSS source files, and support. These terms apply to BootstrapMade, not automatically to Colorlib’s V10 or another vendor’s template; read the current BootstrapMade license and check the specific template’s own terms.

BootstrapMade describes its paid Pro license as allowing commercial or client work and credit removal, with a working PHP/AJAX contact form. Its Premium Plan page also advertises template and builder access, use on unlimited domains, Sass/SCSS files, and support. Confirm the current plan terms, price, and any conditions directly with the vendor before buying. BootstrapMade says purchases are processed by Paddle, which it identifies as Merchant of Record; that is the vendor’s statement. License details · Premium Plan details.
