BOMBANANA! is a cooperative bomb-defusal party game from Lefto Studio and publisher TARK, released on Steam on September 2, 2026. Its official Roblox adaptation is credited to FXFX Studio working with the original team. TARK calls it the first Steam-native party game to receive a purpose-built Roblox adaptation; that is the publisher’s claim, not an independently verified industry-wide first.
What is BOMBANANA!?
BOMBANANA! is a teamwork game built around divided information. Steam describes a three-player team of monkeys trying to defuse a bomb: each player has only part of the information, so the group must communicate, solve puzzles and beat the clock. The Roblox listing characterizes the roles as blind, mute and deaf monkeys, and currently advertises a two-player mode.

Why TARK calls it the first
TARK Games described the Roblox release as the first Steam-native party game to launch an official, purpose-built Roblox adaptation. The wording matters: the claim comes from the publisher, and the available sources do not independently establish a comprehensive comparison with every other game. The adaptation is notable as an official collaboration, but the “first” label should be understood as TARK’s characterization.
What the announced milestones show
In an October 5, 2026 press release, TARK reported more than 16 million Roblox visits and 80,000 favorites, and said the Steam game had sold more than one million copies during its first ten days. These are publisher-reported figures, not independently audited totals, and the Roblox numbers are a dated snapshot rather than current live counts. See TARK Games’ announcement.

Lefto Studio’s September 1, 2026 Steam announcement also reported one million wishlists, six million demo players and 50,000 Discord members. It described the demo as the number-one demo for Steam Next Fest 2026 and the second most-played Steam demo from June through August; those rankings and figures are the developer’s claims, not independent measurements. The official Steam community FAQ attributes this reaction to Game Director Ufuk Girit: “I was confident the game would succeed in being fun, but winning first place at Next Fest was a huge surprise for me.”

The game’s Steam announcement archive said the team partnered with Youtooz to create a monkey plush. That establishes an announced collectible, not its current availability. The sources do not establish whether it is currently for sale or listed on Amazon.
