What you need to complete in Shattered Station
The level is the first proper stage of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2. Its completion tracking is straightforward: two Secrets and one Purity Seal, for a total of three collectibles. The three rewards are not all found on the critical path, so a player who simply follows the objective markers can finish the operation without reaching 3/3.

The safest approach is to collect the first Secret before taking the weapon, claim the Purity Seal immediately after opening the courtyard, and save the second Secret for the Red Sigma key sequence. That order keeps every landmark tied to the progression route and avoids searching the wrong side of a branch.

Branch choice and campaign context
Shattered Station is not an isolated, universally identical corridor sequence. The broader campaign route is branch-sensitive: paired operations exclude one another, and the operation chosen on the deployment map determines which later rooms and instructions apply. If your map selection differs from the route described here, use the Shattered Station landmarks and objectives below, but do not assume that every later campaign room will match.

The referenced route selects Nurgle Nightmare on Novoza, Frozen Terror on Amara Mors, and Forged in Battle on Erythine. Its chapter order is:
- The Arkifane Emerges

Crucible is optional on that route. This matters when consulting a larger campaign walkthrough: a different deployment-map choice can change the rooms after the operation, while the three Shattered Station collectibles and the local objective sequence remain the landmarks to verify inside this level.
Shattered Station main objective walkthrough
1. Activate the first green console
Begin by using the green console beside the first door. This is the opening progression interaction; if the door does not open, return to that terminal rather than searching for a key elsewhere. Once the control has been activated, follow the damaged corridor forward.
Cultists occupy the route. Clear them, then continue until the corridor reaches a broken section that must be jumped. The level uses this gap as a navigation check: look beyond the break instead of trying to force a route through the damaged floor.

2. Fire the remote switch across the gap
A Servitor points out a switch on the far side of the gap. Aim across the opening and shoot that remote switch. The switch is not a collectible and does not replace the earlier green-console interaction; it is the next progression control. If the route appears stalled after the jump, confirm that the distant switch was actually hit.
3. Take the red key from the lower recess
After the remote switch has been activated, locate the lower recess and collect the red key. The key is required for the Red Sigma door, so do not leave the area expecting the red-symbol entrance to open automatically. The lower position is easy to overlook if you remain at eye level with the corridor.
4. Open the red-symbol door and survive the Purge
Return to the red-symbol door with the key. Use the red key console, enter the newly accessible section, and clear the Purge encounter. The red key, its matching door, and the encounter form one objective chain; activating the console is the point at which the door sequence advances.
5. Finish the later encounter and reactivate the green panel
Continue through the operation until the later Chaos Terminator encounter is complete. Then activate the green panel. This panel is part of the extraction setup, not a replacement for the opening green console. Once it has been used, return to the exposed platform.

6. Trigger Thunderhawk extraction
At the exposed platform, wait for the Thunderhawk’s rear ramp to open. Walk inside the aircraft and use the glowing exit. Entering the platform area before the ramp opens does not complete the operation; the extraction trigger requires the open rear ramp and the glowing exit interaction.
Collectible 1: Secret 1 and the laurel wreath
Where to turn around
When you reach the doorway to the altar chamber where the first Boltgun is obtained, stop before proceeding into the weapon area. Turn back. This is deliberately behind the direction in which the level first encourages you to travel, so moving forward without checking behind makes the Secret easy to miss.
How to find the trench
From the doorway, scan to the left beside the rock wall. Look for a blood-stained trench rather than another door or console. Follow the trench to its end; the path leads to a floating golden laurel wreath.
How to register the Secret
Walk directly into the wreath. The game displays “SECRET DISCOVERED”, and the pickup awards +50 Faith. Do not merely aim at it or stand beside it: the confirmation requires contact with the floating wreath. If no confirmation appears, retrace the trench and move through the wreath’s center.

Purity Seal 1/1: the cracked wall alcove
Reach the correct room
First obtain the Boltgun. Then activate the green terminal to open the courtyard exit. Defeat the courtyard Autogun Cultists and look for the small room opposite them. The room’s position relative to the courtyard is the key landmark; searching the outer courtyard walls will not reveal the Seal.
Shoot the cracked panel
Inside the small room, face the cracked rear wall panel and shoot it with the Boltgun. The wall is the breakable surface for this collectible. If the panel remains intact, check that you are firing at the visibly cracked section rather than an adjacent wall or doorway.
Enter the alcove and take the Seal
The damaged panel reveals an alcove. Enter it and collect the floating Purity Seal. The game announces “YOU DISCOVERED A PURITY SEAL!”, and the pickup provides +50 Boltgun ammo. The cracked wall is therefore both the visual clue and the required interaction; no key or console opens this particular compartment.

Secret 2: Red Sigma door and the hidden weapon enhancement
Get the Red Sigma key first
Secret 2 cannot be completed from the initial side of the level. Follow the objective route until you have collected the Red Sigma key, then return to the matching Red Sigma door. The door and key are a pair; reaching the door before obtaining the key does not expose the hidden compartment.

Use the red key console
Activate the red key console at the Red Sigma entrance and enter the room. Once inside, look upward. The relevant target is a small glowing square switch high on the wall, not the lower panel that eventually opens.
Shoot high, then search low
Shoot the glowing square switch. The panel below it lowers, exposing a compartment at floor level. Immediately check below the switch after firing: the opening is beneath the target, and it is possible to keep looking at the wall and miss the lowered section.
Collect the enhancement
Enter the lowered compartment and collect the glowing green weapon enhancement. The second “SECRET DISCOVERED” confirmation appears when the enhancement is picked up. If the panel has not lowered, you have either fired at the wrong wall detail or have not activated the Red Sigma console first.
Recommended 3/3 collection order
- At the altar-chamber doorway, turn back and follow the left-side blood-stained trench to the laurel wreath.
- Obtain the Boltgun, activate the green terminal, clear the courtyard Autogun Cultists, and shoot the cracked wall in the opposite small room for the Purity Seal.
- Continue through the gap-switch and red-key objectives until you can return to the Red Sigma door.
- Activate the red key console, shoot the high glowing square switch, and collect the green weapon enhancement from the lowered compartment.
- Complete the Purge and later Chaos Terminator encounters, activate the green panel, and use the Thunderhawk’s open rear ramp and glowing exit.
This sequence keeps the collectibles in the order in which their landmarks become available. The first Secret is deliberately backtracking-based; the Seal follows the first weapon pickup; the second Secret is gated by the Red Sigma key.
Troubleshooting missed objectives and collectibles

- Red key collected from the lower recess.
- Red Sigma console activated and Purge encounter cleared.
- Later Chaos Terminator encounter completed.
- Final green panel activated.
- Thunderhawk rear ramp entered and glowing exit used.
When all three collectible confirmations are present and the Thunderhawk exit has been used, Shattered Station is complete at 3/3 for its tracked collectibles and its extraction objective.
