MediaInfoline reported on October 5, 2026, that OPPO India had unveiled the campaign; a syndicated announcement on Business Standard carried an October 6 date. The title translates to “The bigger the heart, the bigger the selfie.” Its central idea is familiar: when a gathering grows, someone inevitably calls for people to move back or squeeze in so no one is left out of the frame. Divyenndu Sharma’s reported comment captures that moment with the phrase “thoda aur peeche!”

OPPO’s India product page describes the F35 5G as a “Group Selfie Expert” and lists a 50MP Ultra-Wide Natural Selfie Camera with a 100° field of view. A wide field of view can help include more people in a selfie, which is the practical link between the campaign and the phone. The listed specification alone does not establish how faces look near the edges, how image quality compares with other phones, or how well the camera performs in different lighting. No independent camera test is established by the cited campaign coverage or product page.
The same OPPO page lists a 120Hz AMOLED display and IP69K water and dust resistance. It also advertises six years of smoothness protection, with important qualifications: OPPO says the claim depends on meeting its laboratory threshold and that the feature will reach the F35 5G through subsequent system OTA updates. These details are separate from the campaign’s group-selfie proposition.
