What you need before visiting the anvil
- Access to the Rex Infernus forest area.

- Access to Dravakar’s Sanctuary and its inner sanctum.
- Pack-a-Punch level 1 weapons covering every standard weapon type.
- Enough rounds and salvage or cash to prepare the weapons and survive between sacrifices.
The forest-part collection comes before the return to Dravakar’s Sanctuary in the broader Rex Infernus quest route. The anvil sequence is a side easter egg, so you can prepare for it while progressing through the main map rather than treating it as a separate opening objective.

How to unlock the Necrofluid Gauntlet

Open Dravakar’s inner sanctum
Complete the requirements that open the inner sanctum. The sacrifice interaction is at Dravakar’s anvil inside this area, not at a general Pack-a-Punch station.

Pack-a-Punch your sacrifice weapons
Bring weapons that represent each standard weapon type and upgrade every one to Pack-a-Punch level 1. The discovery report specifically says an un-Packed weapon is not sufficient.

Offer one weapon type per round
Interact with the anvil and sacrifice one qualifying weapon type. Only one sacrifice can be made in a round, so end or advance the round before attempting the next type.

Repeat for every standard type
Continue the one-per-round sequence until Dravakar has accepted every required type. If the anvil rejects a weapon, do not assume the easter egg is broken: verify its Pack-a-Punch level and whether it is a standard weapon rather than a special weapon.

Claim the reward
Place the final accepted weapon type. Dravakar then places a Pack-a-Punch level 1 Necrofluid Gauntlet on the anvil. Pick it up from the anvil to use it.
Weapon requirements and the unresolved special-weapon question

The reliable rule for a first attempt is to use Pack-a-Punch level 1 conventional weapons and test one type per round.

Prepare before entering the sanctum
Upgrade the weapons and write down which standard types you have ready. Carrying a weapon for every type can be awkward, so stage extras nearby if the map allows it, while keeping the weapon needed for the current sacrifice in your hands.

Expect a multi-round setup
The one-sacrifice-per-round limit makes this a timed sequence. Leave yourself a safe route, ammunition and enough resources to survive each reset. Attempting several interactions in one round will not speed up the process.
Confirm acceptance before moving on
Wait for the anvil’s interaction and visual response after each offering. If no progress is registered, check the weapon’s Pack-a-Punch level and category before spending another round.
What the Necrofluid Gauntlet does
The gauntlet is also used in the Ashes of the Damned quest. A published guide describes firing it at three keys, absorbing them, and carrying the keys to a triangular rock. Its ammunition automatically replenishes when you reload, so reload rather than searching for a conventional ammo pickup when the gauntlet appears empty.

Using it for the key objective
- Locate each of the three keys required by the Ashes of the Damned step.
- Fire the Necrofluid Gauntlet to absorb a key.
- Repeat until all three keys are stored.
- Transport them to the triangular rock and continue the quest interaction.
Troubleshooting a rejected sacrifice
- The anvil does nothing: confirm that you are in Dravakar’s inner sanctum and have completed the forest-part prerequisite.
- A weapon is refused: check that it is Pack-a-Punch level 1 or higher and belongs to a standard weapon type.
- No second sacrifice is available: advance to the next round; the reported limit is one sacrifice per round.
- The final reward does not appear: verify that every required standard type was accepted, including any type you may have skipped while changing loadouts.
- A special weapon fails: switch to a conventional weapon. The special-weapon rule remains unconfirmed and may depend on the current build.
How certain is this method?
The forest prerequisite and wider Rex Infernus quest context are described in independent game-guide coverage, while the anvil sequence itself comes from a community discovery report. That makes the method deterministic once the prerequisites are met, but not yet an officially documented or permanently guaranteed mechanic. If a future update changes the weapon taxonomy, Pack-a-Punch requirement or round lockout, the in-game anvil response should take precedence over older instructions.

Do special weapons count?
That is not confirmed. The discovery report suggests they may not count, so use conventional weapons representing the standard types.
What do I do with the Necrofluid Gauntlet after unlocking it?
