WIRED also names camping, shed or garage use, outages and home backup. Hill says the capacity can run a fridge or TV for a weekend; treat that as an illustration, not a guaranteed runtime. Solar charging
WIRED reports that the XT60 solar input accepts up to 1,200 W and says a zero-to-full charge could take just over four hours in ideal conditions. That is an ideal-condition estimate, not a typical charging-time guarantee; real output and time depend on conditions. The article lists a solar-panel bundle but does not identify the included panel model or its specifications, so confirm what is in the bundle and that it is compatible before choosing it.
