Short answer: the released Bless You Again demo is available on Steam and officially supports controllers, but the published materials do not document the current demo’s settings menu. That means there is no verified button sequence for changing keybinds, accessibility options, resolution, graphics quality, frame rate, V-sync, or similar video settings. An older developer playtest described a tutorial route for viewing controls, but that build was explicitly not representative of the final demo.
What you can confirm about the current demo
Bless You Again is a single-player 3D action roguelite from Gino Inc. Its combat loop combines melee staff attacks, mana generation, spells, and blessings that can be combined into different builds. The official Steam page describes the visual style as a high-quality “Cel-shaded Anime” aesthetic. The demo is listed as available now, while the full game is planned for 2026 rather than released at the time of the latest published information.

The most useful settings-related facts are narrow but reliable:
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Steam’s official listing identifies controller support and names Xbox Controllers among the supported types.
- The demo’s SteamDB record lists Windows support and full controller support.
- The official listing does not enumerate a current control-remapping screen, accessibility menu, display-mode selector, resolution control, graphics presets, frame-rate limit, V-sync, motion-blur toggle, or other video options.
- The Windows minimum specifications are a baseline for launching the game, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate or of which graphics settings the demo exposes.
So, if you are looking for a documented path such as “Options → Controls” or “Settings → Graphics,” none has been established in the published material. The safest answer is to inspect the menus visible in your installed build rather than rely on an older guide.

Controls: current-demo facts versus the older playtest
What is verified for the released demo
Controller input is supported. That is stated on Steam and reinforced by the SteamDB entry, which labels the demo as having full controller support. This tells you that a compatible controller should be recognized, but it does not prove that every action can be remapped or that sensitivity, dead-zone, vibration, or hold/toggle choices are available.
Steam’s listing names Xbox Controllers specifically. It does not establish support for every other controller family, a particular wireless adapter, or a particular operating-system driver configuration. If your controller is not detected, first check that Windows and Steam see it before treating the issue as a game-setting limitation.
What the second playtest said
A developer post for an earlier playtest gave this route in that test build: press Esc on a keyboard, or the controller’s Options button, to open the pause screen and choose Tutorial. The tutorial showed movement, combat, and skill controls. The same post described playtest-specific mechanics: Fairy Mode required a full gauge, a successful Perfect Dodge restored MP, and there was no parry in that build. The post is available through the Bless You Again Steam Community hub.
Those instructions and mechanics must not be treated as confirmed current-demo behavior. The developer’s warning for that test said its content did not represent final demo or release quality and was still under development and adjustment. A tutorial entry may have moved, been renamed, or been removed, and the control scheme may have changed. Use the old post only as historical context, not as a guaranteed menu path.

How to check the menus in the installed demo without assuming features
Because the current settings screen is not documented, use a direct inspection process. It avoids promising an option that may not exist in your build.
- Confirm that you installed the demo rather than a prior playtest branch. Open the game’s Steam library entry and check that you are launching the currently listed demo. Old test builds can retain different tutorials and menus.
- Connect your input device before launching. For a controller, enable it in Steam’s controller settings and verify that Windows responds to button presses. This separates a connection problem from a game configuration problem.
- Inspect the title screen for visible items such as Settings, Options, Controls, or Tutorial. Record the exact labels shown by your build. Do not assume that an item described in the playtest post is present.
- Open the pause screen during a run. Use the keyboard or controller command that your build displays. Look for a controls reference or tutorial entry only if it is visibly offered.
- Check every settings category that actually appears. If a Controls page is present, look for remapping, sensitivity, vibration, or hold/toggle choices. If a Video or Graphics page is present, note display mode, resolution, quality, frame-rate, V-sync, and camera-comfort options. The absence of a listed category is different from a documented “disabled” feature.
- Apply one change at a time and return to gameplay. This makes it clear whether the demo saves the setting immediately, requires confirmation, or resets it when the run ends.
- Write down the build behavior before troubleshooting. Include your input device, whether the option appeared in the title or pause menu, and whether the change persisted after restarting. That information is more useful than copying a path from the older playtest.
This procedure is an inspection method, not a claim that all of these categories exist. Published sources do not establish the current labels or locations.
Accessibility options: what is and is not established
The official store material reviewed for the demo does not enumerate accessibility features. There is no published confirmation of keyboard remapping, controller remapping, hold-versus-toggle alternatives, subtitle presentation controls, text-size choices, color or contrast modes, camera-comfort settings, aim assistance, or other accessibility switches.
Recommended Free Tools
That is an evidence limit, not proof that the demo has no accessibility support. If an accessibility or controls page is visible in your copy, judge it by the concrete options it exposes. A control reference or tutorial is not the same as remapping; a subtitle language listing is not the same as subtitle-size or background controls.

For readers who need a specific accommodation, the practical approach is:
- Check the title-screen and pause-screen menus for an explicitly named Accessibility, Controls, or Gameplay section.
- Look for the exact accommodation you need rather than assuming a broad “controller support” label covers it.
- Test the setting in a short combat sequence, where movement, staff attacks, dodges, spells, and menu navigation all occur.
- If the option is absent, use Steam’s standard controller configuration only as an external workaround, and remember that this does not add an in-game accessibility feature or guarantee that every action will behave correctly.
Do not infer accessibility support from the game’s anime presentation, from generic Steam capabilities, or from options described for another title.
Graphics and video settings: avoid treating requirements as a menu list
The Steam page publishes minimum Windows requirements, but it does not list the demo’s graphics controls. There is no verified information for the current build about resolution selection, fullscreen or borderless mode, quality presets, texture or shadow controls, frame-rate limits, V-sync, motion blur, field of view, or other performance-facing switches.
The minimum requirement is:
| Component | Published Windows minimum | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10/11 | The store’s stated Windows baseline; edition-specific performance is not guaranteed. |
| Processor | Intel Core i3 | A minimum CPU class, with no tested frame-rate claim attached. |
| Memory | 8 GB RAM | The listed system-memory floor. |
| Graphics | GeForce GTX 1050 | The listed GPU floor, not evidence of available quality presets or target frame rate. |
| Storage | 20 GB available space | The published space requirement for installation. |
These figures come from the official Steam listing. They are published minimum specifications, not independent performance measurements. A machine meeting them may still need lower in-game settings if the demo exposes them, or operating-system and driver troubleshooting if it does not.

If the demo runs poorly
- Confirm that the game is using the intended GPU on a laptop or hybrid system.
- Close unnecessary applications and verify that at least the listed storage space remains available.
- Update the graphics driver and restart Steam before testing again.
- Use only the video controls that are visibly present in the demo; do not edit configuration files or assume undocumented launch parameters are supported.
- If no graphics menu appears, record the observed behavior and report it through the game’s official Steam discussion or support channel rather than treating the GTX 1050 requirement as a promise of a particular preset.
Language and audio settings
Steam lists seven interface or subtitle languages: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish (Spain), Korean, and Russian. Japanese is listed as the only language with full audio. These are language availability claims on the store page, not a guarantee that every screen in the demo has identical coverage or that a language switch is available inside the game’s own menu.
If you need to change language, check the language selector exposed by Steam for the game and then inspect the demo after restarting if Steam requests one. Do not confuse a subtitle-language listing with accessibility controls such as text scaling, subtitle backgrounds, speaker labels, or timing adjustments; those features are not enumerated in the published material.

Gino Inc.’s October 6, 2026 Steam announcement gives estimates for how the demo relates to the planned full game. The figures are the developer’s own scope estimates, not independent measurements:
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →| Element | Developer’s statement |
|---|---|
| Main-story cutscene content | Roughly 5% of the full game |
| Gameplay systems | Roughly 30% of the full game |
| Playable demo characters | Two: Lily and Yoru |
| Dungeons | The first of five planned full-game dungeons |
| Full-game main-story length | Approximately 8–10 hours for a first playthrough |
The announcement also says that players can continue exploring the demo dungeon after finishing the prologue. Additional characters, dungeons, skills, blessings, and expanded systems are planned for the full game. Those statements describe intended scope, not a promise that a particular settings screen will be added or that the demo’s current options match the eventual release.

Common mistakes when looking for settings
Following a playtest guide as if it were current
The Esc/Options → Tutorial route belongs to the second playtest. It is not a verified route for the released demo, and the playtest warning specifically separated that test from final quality.
Assuming controller support means remapping
“Full controller support” establishes input compatibility in Steam’s classification. It does not establish user-rebindable actions, alternate layouts, vibration controls, or accessibility toggles.
Reading the GPU requirement as a graphics preset list
A GTX 1050 minimum tells you which GPU class the store expects as a baseline. It does not tell you whether the game offers Low, Medium, or High presets, nor does it guarantee a frame-rate target.
Confusing Steam features with game features
Steam can provide controller configuration and language management outside the game. Those tools may help with input or language, but they are not evidence that the demo itself includes remapping, subtitle customization, or a dedicated accessibility menu.
Bottom line for players installing the demo
You can safely expect a Windows demo with documented controller support, including Xbox Controllers, and you can use the official minimum requirements as a hardware starting point. You cannot yet rely on a published current-demo path for controls, accessibility, or graphics settings. Inspect the menus in your installed build, treat the older playtest instructions as historical only, and describe any option by the label you can actually see. That is the only way to avoid carrying an obsolete test-build instruction into the released demo.
