If you want an Android phone with a physical QWERTY keyboard, choose the original Unihertz Titan: Unihertz identifies it as an Android 10 smartphone. The BlackBerry Passport is not an Android phone; it runs BlackBerry 10. Consider it only if you specifically want the Passport’s keyboard and BlackBerry 10 experience and are prepared to verify whether its apps, network support, and condition meet your needs.
First, the key difference: Android versus BlackBerry 10
This is not a comparison between two Android phones. The original Unihertz Titan is an Android 10 device, according to Unihertz’s product specifications. The BlackBerry Passport is a BlackBerry 10 handset. Its user guide refers to sharing content from an Android app, but that describes an app workflow; it does not mean the Passport runs Android. See the BlackBerry Passport user guide.

That distinction should drive the decision. If your requirement is an Android phone with physical keys, the Passport does not meet it. If you want the Passport specifically for its BlackBerry 10 interface and hardware, assess it as a legacy-platform device rather than as an Android alternative.

How their keyboards compare
BlackBerry Passport
The Passport has a three-row physical keyboard, as described in its user guide. One CrackBerry forum contributor preferred the Passport’s keyboard feel to the Titan’s, but that is an individual owner’s opinion—not a controlled typing test or a reliable measure of how most people will type. You can read the owner comparison.

Original Unihertz Titan
The Titan is a physical-QWERTY Android phone, but the available evidence does not establish that its keyboard is faster or more comfortable than the Passport’s. If typing feel is decisive, try the specific device before buying when possible, or seek hands-on feedback about the original Titan rather than a different model.
Model names matter: discussion of “real typing reviews” for the Titan 2 and Passport concerns the Titan 2, not the original Titan covered here. Those impressions should not be treated as evidence about the original Titan’s keyboard. The reader question appears in this Reddit post.

What is established about the Titan’s hardware
Unihertz lists a 4.6-inch display and an IP67 rating for the original Titan on its product page. These are manufacturer-provided specifications, not independent test results in the evidence available here. They offer a useful indication of how Unihertz positions the device, but do not establish its condition, durability after years of use, or suitability for your particular needs.

1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsCheck age, support, network compatibility, and price before buying
Neither the cited product information nor the user guide settles current app or security support, local availability, seller reliability, price, or carrier compatibility. These details can determine whether either phone is practical, especially when buying an older or used handset. Verify them for the exact device and your country and carrier rather than assuming support from the model name.

- Apps and security: Check whether the apps you rely on work on the device and whether its operating system receives the support you require. Do not assume that the Passport’s BlackBerry 10 software provides Android app compatibility.
- Carrier service: Confirm the exact model and network bands with your carrier, and ask whether it can be activated on your plan. Compatibility varies by region and carrier.
- Condition and seller: For a used or refurbished handset, check battery health, keyboard function, screen condition, return terms, and what the seller has actually verified.
- Total cost: Compare current local offers, including any shipping, taxes, or repair costs. A low listing price does not establish that the device is supported or suitable for your network.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the original Unihertz Titan if you want an Android phone built around a physical QWERTY keyboard and its Android 10 specification fits your requirements. Confirm app, security, carrier, price, and stock details before purchase.
- Choose the BlackBerry Passport if you specifically want its BlackBerry 10 experience and three-row keyboard, and you are comfortable checking the device’s app, network, and condition limitations yourself.
