Preorders are listed at $569, against a stated regular price of $749, but Bigme has not announced a shipping date.
What the Bigme B13 Pro is
The B13 Pro is an external monitor rather than a standalone E Ink tablet. It can receive video over Mini HDMI or USB Type-C, and compatible devices can send both power and video through a single USB-C cable. Wireless mirroring is supported through DLNA, AirPlay and Miracast.

Bigme lists compatibility with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices. The company recommends computers between 13 and 17 inches, suggesting the monitor is aimed at laptop users who want a second screen that is lighter and easier on the eyes than a conventional display.

The panel uses E Ink’s Kaleido 3 color technology. Its 3200 × 2400 resolution is a 4:3 aspect ratio, with quoted densities of 300 PPI for black-and-white content and 150 PPI for color. It supports 4,096 colors. Color E Ink remains less saturated and less extensive than the color range on LCD and OLED monitors, so the B13 Pro is better suited to text, documents, coding, reading and static reference material than color-critical creative work.

Why the 60Hz claim matters
The headline change is speed. Bigme claims the B13 Pro can reach up to 60 frames per second, twice the 30FPS figure listed for the earlier B13. A higher maximum refresh figure should make scrolling, cursor movement and interface animations appear more fluid, provided the source device, connection and E Ink display mode can sustain it.
The 60FPS number is a manufacturer claim reported at launch. No independent laboratory measurements were provided for response time, input latency, ghosting, frame consistency or motion clarity. Buyers should therefore treat “60Hz” as a maximum specification, not as proof that the monitor will look or respond like a 60Hz LCD or OLED panel in every mode.

The AOC model demonstrates that the B13 Pro is not the only 13.3-inch monitor using this resolution and panel family. Its differentiator is the claimed 60FPS ceiling, plus the B13 Pro’s stated wired, wireless and one-cable USB-C options.

Connections and portable design
USB-C and Mini HDMI
USB-C is the simplest setup when the host device supports video output and can provide suitable power: one cable can carry both signals. Mini HDMI provides a conventional wired video path, although it may require separate power depending on the source and monitor setup.
Wireless screen mirroring
DLNA, AirPlay and Miracast cover common wireless-display ecosystems across phones, tablets and computers. Wireless performance depends on the network and host device, and the launch information does not specify a measured wireless latency or maximum wireless resolution.

Size and dual-screen use
The aluminum-alloy body measures 286 × 231.5 × 5.6 mm at its thinnest point and weighs approximately 660g. Bigme also supports placing two B13 Pro units side by side for a dual-screen workspace. That arrangement can provide more working area while retaining the 4:3 shape of each panel, but it requires two monitors and the necessary video and power connections.

Price, preorder status and shipping
Bigme’s announced preorder price is $569, while the listed price is $749. The announcement and the product page cited in the launch coverage do not specify when orders will ship. Anyone considering a preorder should check the current product page for an estimated dispatch window, destination availability, taxes, returns and warranty handling before paying.

The one-year warranty is the stated coverage period. The launch information does not establish whether the $569 price is a temporary promotion, how long it will remain available or whether shipping charges are included.
Who should consider it
- Readers and writers: The high monochrome pixel density and 4:3 format favor documents and long pages.
- Developers and office users: A portable second display can hold code, terminals or reference material while the primary laptop handles other tasks.
- Frequent travelers: The approximately 660g aluminum body is easier to carry than a full-size monitor.
- Users sensitive to LCD viewing: E Ink’s reflective display may be preferable for some people, although comfort varies by lighting and refresh mode.
It is a less obvious fit for gaming, fast video, animation, color grading or design work that depends on broad gamut and predictable motion. The 60FPS claim does not remove the underlying differences between color E Ink and emissive or backlit panels.
What remains unproven
- Independent tests of the claimed 60FPS performance
- Measured response time, latency, ghosting and frame stability
- Actual color gamut and color accuracy in different display modes
- Battery or power behavior in USB-C and wireless configurations
- Confirmed shipping dates for preorder customers
The Bottom Line
The Bigme B13 Pro is a 13.3-inch Kaleido 3 color E Ink monitor whose key upgrade is a claimed maximum of 60 frames per second. Its $569 preorder price, high-resolution 4:3 panel and broad wired and wireless connectivity are promising for text-focused portable work, but shipping timing and independent evidence of 60FPS motion quality are still unavailable.
