The closest verified match for the headline is BGMI’s May 2024 campaign, “Hai Thoda Time, Play Thoda BGMI,” created by 22feet Tribal Worldwide. It promoted Quick Game Modes through three comic films about everyday mishaps that unexpectedly leave people with a little time to play. The available coverage does not identify “think less and play more” as the campaign’s official name or slogan.
What the May 2024 BGMI campaign was about
LBB reported on May 21, 2024, that 22feet Tribal Worldwide unveiled “Hai Thoda Time, Play Thoda BGMI” for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA. MediaNews4U reported on May 25 that the campaign focused on BGMI’s quicker game modes. Its premise was simple: a small, unexpected gap in a busy day can become an opportunity to play.

The films used comic chains of cause and effect—minor disruptions that grow into events giving the characters a brief opening to play. The campaign coverage describes the films and their intended connection to Quick Game Modes; it does not independently verify details of the in-game experience.
What happens in the three campaign films
“Kutty Gangster”
A gangster’s plan goes awry, causing a nearby cab delay. The chain of events creates an unexpected pocket of time for a game.

Together, the stories use a butterfly-effect idea: small incidents lead to larger, often absurd consequences, and the characters use the resulting free time for Quick Game Modes.

The phrase in the supplied headline was not corroborated in the campaign coverage. The verified campaign name in the available reports is “Hai Thoda Time, Play Thoda BGMI.” It is therefore more accurate to describe the campaign as an invitation to use brief free moments for quick gameplay, rather than as a message telling players to think less.

The campaign’s stated creative focus was finding a sliver of time, not promoting a general attitude toward decision-making or encouraging less thought in play. Neither the reported campaign name nor the described film plots establish “think less and play more” as an official slogan.
What the campaign’s creators said
LBB reproduced comments from Srinjoy Das, associate director of marketing at KRAFTON India, and Vishnu Srivatsav, creative head at 22feet Tribal Worldwide. Das said the team found the scripts funny and hoped the films would hold viewers’ curiosity. His mention of “high video completion rates” was an expression of hope, not a published performance result.

Srivatsav described the creative idea as searching for “a tiny sliver” of free time and building “crazy, yet plausible” events that would lead to a little time for BGMI’s quick game modes. These comments explain the concept; they do not establish measured campaign outcomes.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteHow this differs from BGMI’s later 2024 campaign
In September 2024, 22feet Tribal Worldwide was also associated with a separate BGMI campaign, “Anyone Se Everyone Tak,” described as welcoming gamers across skill levels. That campaign had an inclusion-focused premise, unlike the May campaign’s short-time and Quick Game Modes concept. The two should not be treated as the same campaign.
