For an FC 27 Career Mode team built around long-term growth, Lamine Yamal is the highest-ceiling young right winger in the available shortlist. Désiré Doué offers the strongest balance of current rating and remaining growth, while Yan Diomande is the less expensive listed option among the top three. Those figures come from a third-party database snapshot dated 20 August 2026, not guaranteed transfer prices or development outcomes in your save.
How the shortlist was put together
FAFIFA’s 20 August 2026 update 1 ranks 192 right wingers aged 21 or younger by potential. Its figures are in-game data: value and wage are shown in euros, and the page says it refreshes roughly weekly with squad updates. Treat the club associations and financial figures below as a dated snapshot; later updates or your save’s circumstances may differ. See FAFIFA’s FC 27 under-21 right-wing ranking.

EA’s official right-wing ratings page independently lists the top three players’ overall ratings, but it does not verify their potential, age, value or wage. EA’s FC 27 right-wing ratings also notes that player details can change after database updates.

Which player fits your Career Mode save?
Choose Yamal for the highest ceiling
At 18, Yamal has the shortlist’s highest potential at 95 and the strongest current overall rating at 90. That combination makes him the clearest long-horizon centerpiece if your club can accommodate his listed €191 million value and €457,000 wage. He is not automatically the right signing for a tighter budget or a save where you need several positions reinforced.
Choose Doué for a near-ready option with room to grow
Doué is 21 with an 86 overall rating and 92 potential, a six-point gap. He is the oldest of the three but already rated closer to a top-level starter than Diomande. His listed €124.3 million value and €132,000 wage remain substantial, so weigh that cost against your squad’s needs rather than treating his growth margin as guaranteed.

Consider Diomande when the top trio’s listed costs matter
Diomande is 19, rated 84 overall, and has 90 potential in the snapshot. His listed €73 million value and €48,000 wage are the lowest among these three, with the same six-point growth margin as Doué. This makes him the relatively less expensive top-three candidate on these figures—not a confirmed bargain, since affordability depends on your club and save.

The same 20 August 2026 ranking places these players fourth through eighth by potential. The available listing gives overall and potential ratings, but not a comparable set of values and wages here.

These are lower-rated development projects than the leading three in that database snapshot. Before pursuing one, compare the current in-game attributes you value—such as pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending and physicality—with your tactical role, then check the live value and wage in the database or your save. The ranking alone does not establish match-tested superiority or a particular tactical fit.

Potential is a database ceiling, not a promise that a player will reach that rating in every Career Mode save. Likewise, the published euro value and wage are reference figures from the dated database, not a guaranteed transfer fee or contract offer. EA says FC 27’s rebuilt Career Mode Transfer Market factors club buying power, player potential, ratings and form into player values, so what a target costs can depend on the club you manage and the save’s circumstances. EA announced a worldwide release date of 25 September 2026; its FC 27 launch announcement describes the Transfer Market but does not guarantee a particular fee or transfer outcome.

A practical way to shortlist and sign one
- Set the squad need first. Decide whether you need a starting right winger now or can wait for a prospect to develop.
- Check your budget and wage structure. Compare the candidate’s current in-save demands with your club’s available transfer funds and payroll rather than relying on the snapshot alone.
- Compare current ability with the role. Review attributes that matter to your system, then consider overall rating, age and potential together; do not select only by potential.
- Confirm current player details. Squad updates can change ratings and associations. Verify the player’s club and profile in your current game or an updated database.
- Make an offer that suits your save. EA describes club buying power and player ratings, potential and form as factors in Career Mode values. Use the negotiation outcome in your save as the final guide, not the third-party listed value.
